I have nothing inherently against CrossFit, it's just all the people I've met that do it are pompous jackoffs. How they are more vain then a bodybuilder blows my mind

"Coach always tell us quantity over quality, form is only to look aesthetically pleasing while lifting."
edit: didn't see this video posted in thread. It is very relevant to the topic at hand.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of Death, I shall fear no evil, because I'm the baddest motherf#*%er in the valley.

holy lol at the end, almost missed it. rolf. tbh not even that impressive, there's plenty of amateur bodybuilders who wouldn't even have to snatch that, they actually isolate their delts and could simply press it after a clean. i think there's a kid on the misc who's only a 176lbs (lighter than that guy) and he can strict press 225. btbam can hang clean that weight like 20 fcuking times. crossfit is for *******s because it's an inefficient means for a desired goal, it's a business model meant to exploit people the same way fad diets are.
Dude.....no

Most of the people who are successful at it built a strength base doing traditional powerlifting or olympic weightlifting. None of them got swole doing crossfit, they were already swole, did crossfit, and expanded their skills.
People who do crossfit without a prior strength base rarely look like the people you pointed out.
But, if performed with good technique, it is a top-notch workout, I don't think anyone can deny that. When all that says 'it is good' has been debunked, what says 'I want' remains.
