after doing a lot of research (hard to tell which parts were bs, tbh) I picked out what seems, at this time, to be the best option
>6'3, 210lb, enough muscle that warrants caution doing this kind of thing
it's a lot like leangains.
it's a low carb IF. I'll also detail what i'd be doing during which period
Lifting Day:
1pm to 7pm
>eat: 25% of my intake, half carbs half protein
>lift
>eat: 25% of my intake, fat and protein
>eat the other 50% close to 7 PM
Non Lifting Day:
1pm to 7pm
>fasted LISS, some bodyweight and small exercises
>eat 50% of my intake after, no/low carb
>eat the other 50% again close to 7 PM
every day:
1g of protein per estimated lean mass in lbs (somewhere between 180g and 190g)
2,000-2,200kcal
below 50g carbs
feedback appreciated, thanks

about calories: im 17 - 18% bodyfat. went down from over 20%, 250lbs by eating about 2.5k. its kind of stalled, so i figure i need to push it along to get to a better percentage.
low carb because i figure carbs are only worth eating before lifting, and that i would be better off in a glycogen depleted state if im trying to cut <== please tell me if i'm horribly mistaken

@ OP -
If you enjoy low carb, go for it. Though be aware there is no magical metabolic advantage to your body using dietary fat as its energy store, one way or the other the only thing that dictates your fat loss is your net energy balance at the end of the day.
@ all the rest of the idiots in the thread -
I eat one meal per day post workout and have a preworkout snack and that's it. Umad I'm leaner AND stronger than you?
meal timing is IRRELEVANTPicking things up and putting them down since '09

My strength has been consistently increasing while on IF and I've been dropping about 2lbs a week. I also certainly do not starve. Infact I find that eating a few big meals keeps me much fuller then when I was eating six small meals throughout the entire day.
And the best part is I havnt had the urge to binge eat.

I'd say he needs more cals, unless you literally sleep all day! An active 210lbs 6.3ft male, 2k cals is not enough.. IMO and he will lose muscle due to cals being so low. Again all IMO so don't get mad.

We don't use ratios here.
Please read, come up with macros, and we will take a look.
