While I feel it's sh*tty to dictate who has the right to participate in a thread, you do have a point. This really isn't a thread for beginners on their way to a goal. I wasn't implying that I've accomplished anything, I just put the pic together and have been reading this thread b/c I find it inspirational.

corrected pictures
Hey guys just wanted to say thank you to all of you that posted your pics. I have been following this thread for over a year and it is probably the biggest inspiration that has ever touched me. This thread without a doubt saved my life and i owe it all to you people.
I started my transformation july 25th, 2010. I was going to start it on my birthday (july 27th) but i couldn't bare to look at myself anymore in the mirror. Not for 2 more days. I am about 5'8-5'9 and weighed in at 290 lbs. i was extremely obese. my blood pressure was 138/92 and i couldnt run a half of a lap on the treadmill before my heart rate would spike to 180 beats per minute. Now I am 177 lbs my blood pressure is 110/68 and my resting heart rate is at 62 bpm. i went from a size 44 waist to a size 31/32 i lost a half a shoe size because i am no longer flat footed and have arches now that i am 113 pounds lighter. these are my pictures... please feel free to comment and ask any questions

[QUOTE=azurejer;685104911]Just a 'proper lighting' progress of my 4 months working at it (almost 5 I guess). 10-15lbs to go, then a clean bulk.
Great Job man!

Def keep it up man. This thread got me started and I just kept following and following because I wanted to be the recipient of the "wow" and "great job" comments but above all I wanted it for myself. You and I started out at very similar weights and we seem to have lost it at the same rate. Stay motivated and stay the course it will change an save your life.

I had lost almost over 100 lbs in about 6 months at the end of my senior year, i had been big my whole life eating fast food all the time and just not being active. I knew it was time to change for the better, not only for looks but my health. Diabetes ran in my family and i didnt want that to happen to me. I moved to alaska for a year and my friends got me into the gym and once i started i never looked back!!

Went from 225 to 175 in 3 1/2 months.
Far from where I want to be. Still a work in progress.
Oh and to the people that got where they want to be. Congrats. I wish I could rep+ you all.

Yeah. I am sort of taking a bit of a different approach to bulking. I haven't resorted back to an unhealthy lifestyle, but I have been less strict on my diet. I have been eating at maintenance. Basically normal foods, with a cheat meal a week.
I have been beasting on the whey protein. Drinking like 2-3 times a day. Also, my routine is alot more aggressive
the "4 DAY SPLIT FOR MASSIVE GAINS" program. Just started this week. Before I never had a set program, I just made sure I worked all my muscles a week, with some cardio.
This time I am charting my stats, and trying to progress in strength and hypotrophy.
I'll send you a pic in a year when I am brawny.

Ive viewed this thread for some time now and really wanted to post when I felt I accomplished my goals but now that Ive hit a wall in my progress I figured Id post my ups and downs so far to keep me motivated to continue working.
Basically I decided during my sophomore year of college to change my lifestyle when I weighed in at 290 lbs which was the most I had ever weighed in my life.
7 months later I was down to 193 pounds but I was worn out and felt I looked sick more than I did healthy, so I decided to bulk which ultimately failed and I went from 193 to 230 in a very short time.
I had limited knowledge of how to bulk properly and how to come of of calorie restricted diet(i just knew how to eat)
Now, with better knowledge I am attempting to lower my bf while maintaining muscle as I lose weight and currently weigh 217.
Congrats to all those with their amazing transformations in this thread and good luck to those currently pursuing their goals.

True transformation here. Total bodyweight cut literally in half. I admire your obvious dedication. You should post logs/plans you've used for guidance to women who are at that same difficult starting point and struggling for direction; I'm sure they would be very appreciative.

Finnaly went through all the transformations, and red EVERY posts.
Congratulations to everyone who finally decided to finally make a move, and change their life. Seriously, this takes a lot of dedication, and hard work, I can't wait to come back to this thread very soon, to post my own results alongside all the other winners 'round here!
