    Increase Strength + Muscular Endurance?

im interested in gaining strength, but at the same time using weight training to increase muscular and cardiovacular endurance, so ive started doing 1 3 minute set.
    for instance:
chest press at 180pnds for 3 minutes, after 10-12 reps i have to take a 15 second rest, then i keep going and i usually can only another do 4-5 reps. anf ter another 15-20 seconds of rest i can do 3 reps. by 2 minutes im at point of failure and cannot even do 1 rep, but i keep trying until my last minute is done.

    criticisms?

Check out GVT 10x10, essentially you wouldnt be doing much weight to start but your increasing the weight by 5-10lbs per workout (Atleast thats how much Im increasing it by) and essentially you would be pushing your 60% up which means your max as well.

if my 60% weight for squat is 145 then essentially if I can do 10x10 of 180 I would have effectively increased my max.

For what purpose? There's undoubtedly a better method to increase endurance than you are using, but we need to know what you want to be able to do.
