Not a single mention for Big Z?
Not saying he's the 2nd best, but he atleast deserves a mention
I think Arvydas Sabonis was probably the BEST foreign player as far as overall skills that the NBA has ever seen (either him, Dirk, or Petrovic), unfortunately he didn't get to America until he was 31 (10 years after he was drafted). If he would have been playing in the NBA from the age of 20-21 his career would have rivaled Dirk's. He could shoot like Dirk, he was 7'3, and could move really well, had a great offensive game. Averaged a 16 & 10 with a physically destroyed body (he had chronic achilles problems, ankle, knee problems, etc.) when he was 33 years old (his 3rd year in the NBA).
He won the European Player of the Year award 8 times playing in Lithuania. His first year in the NBA he was runner up for Rookie of the Year (at the age of 31 lol), averaged 14 points and 8 boards on like 20 some minutes a night.
A lot of people say he could have been a top 5 all time center if he would have played his whole career in the NBA, before he lost all his mobility.

If were counting this than its def Gino but what you dont understand is that Ginobili is NOT italian. His parents may have been but he was born in Argentina.
He is not European
Behind Dirk is tie between Tony Parker and Petrovic
Close shout out to Rik Smits, Schrempf, Gasol and Peja in his prime.
lmao at 75% of the ridiculous answers in this thread
