Maybe a month or two ago, it said "New formula" on the container if I recall correctly. I was really let down with the taste after hearing all the praises, but I unlike many others in these types of threads understand everyones' taste buds are different and we interpret flavors differently.

The quality is not good. The first ingredient is ion-exchanged whey isolate. There are enough posts and articles if you want to get educated why ion-exchange is inferior to cold-process proteins. Majority of the new popular proteins, like Trutein, Wheyology, XF Whey, XF Ultra Peptide, Myofusion, Intrapro, VPX, etc. are cold-processed.
I think the fact that ON has inferior processing and tastes worse than newer products on the market is simply because ON is an outdated protein that has not kept up with the advancements in protein processing and flavoring. They are able to sell because they have a huge marketing budget and people are ignorant, plain and simple!

dude, you're not going to see a difference in your physique, if you switch to another protein. i like some of dymatize's flavors. and, i occasionally buy a couple 2 lbers. you're ok with that protein. you're not going to die from it. you won't get any horrible disease. some people want the best quality available, and consider ion-exchange protein to be otherwise.
imo, you're not going to put on more muscle with another type of protein. if you are digging the taste, stay with it.
