Dassier, I am currently on a bulk. I do two days of cardio out of the 5 day workout. I don't do it to lose weight obviously but simply because it does burn fat. However, I also eat more on those days. So if you, for example, on non-cardio days are on a 3,000 calorie diet and burn 350 calories, you should try to eat maybe 300 calories extra to prevent from losing weight. The purpose of bulking up is to gain weight so you definitely don't want to lose weight obviously. I just feel like there is nothing wrong with burning fat on a bulk while others feel like it's better to burn the fat off when you go on a cut. It's your personal preference but me personally, I'd rather not raise my body fat too much even being on a bulk.

Before I start a quick breakdown I have to say this because it is annoying me
Loose does not equal lose.
You LOSE fat...you LOOSEN your shoestring. Please use the correct word...thank you!
Now...lets break your issue down to fundamentals:
Calories in > Calories out = gain weight
Calories in = Calories out = maintain weight
Calories in < Calories out = lose weight
I am hoping you can see why your body would be unable to lose fat while being in a caloric surplus from this.

this is very true. u can indeed do both however keep in mind it will only work if u are bulking slowly and over eating bulk of 1,000 extra a day will prevent ur goals of lean mass to be acheived however a slower more gentle approach will satisfy the body and give u an athletic look. time is of the essence as they say

Disagree. I spend about 20 minutes twice a week doing interval cardio on a track, I'm bulking and have been putting on weight and increasing strength without losing definition. Admittedly there are days where I get a bit puffy, but my vascularity, definition, and bodyfat have stayed the same or even decreased in certain areas.

Well, you will be losing calories that you would have needed to bulk when you do cardio. But the best reason to do it is for your cardiovascular system. I don't want to be a beast at 40 and lose my breathe walking up four flights of stairs. Not to mention that testing your muscles like that also helps in the long run to burn more calories but also to be able to push yourself harder and hopefully be able to gain more muscle a bit easier.
But no, you probably won't lose much fat except for the fact that you would be decreasing your surplus calories and possibly just decrease your bodyfat% as you gain muscle. In other words, it *could* help you not gain fat while you gain muscle, but usually at the cost of possible muscle gain.Short term Goal: To cut back before bulking like a demon.
Mid term Goal: To find myself.
Long term Goal: To get what's mine.
