RUHL was an immensely popular figure and obviously why, as , everyone loves a real mass monster....
however, looking at the current crop of contenders, he simply cannot stand next to these guys even in his best shape.....
their combination of size/cuts AND PROPORTIONS are too much for Ruhl.....
they are simply too BALANCED in their current development for a person such as Ruhl to upset them.....

He won't be as competitive as he used to be; it seems like bodybuilding is starting to go back to favoring a physique that is more asthetic again (I know Jay won, but looking at Phil, Dennis, Evan, etc with the up and coming).
With that said, he'll still compete in something next year. He is actually my favorite bb'er of all time, so I'm gonna miss him when he stops competing. Freaky physique and absolutely hilarious dude. The Iron Godfather

He said prior to the Dallas show that 2010 might be his last year. He said he wanted to do one more Olympia and then would see what his plans are from there. He said he is taking his career one year at a time now.
But since he missed the Olympia, not sure he will keep doing it.Bench: 215x12 (17/12/2011) PR since torn RC

Yes, this is true but I wasn't sexually attracted or deep in lust with Markus so he can smoke 5 cigarettes at one time and I wouldn't care (although I would wait until he's finished before getting close to him to take a picture).
It was just heartbreaking for me to see Wolf smoke. I had no idea about this before hand. It's all over youtube with Markus smoking cancer sticks but with Wolf it came as a total surprise."I will persist until I succeed!" - Og Mandino

Why do people like Ruhl? He's the replacement Greg Kovacs. No lines, no shape, undersized triceps, oversized delts, a gut extending beyond the orbit of the moon...he looks horrible.
We're dodging more ninjitsu attacks than Flex Wheeler. We're ducking more bullets than George Farah. We're facing more death than a kid leg pressing at Branch Warren's gym.
