i was filling the needle (w/o my contacts on), i had it on one hand and set down the bottle (i was infront of my computer)..i think when i was setting down the bottlee, i hit the modem by accident but not sure...so basically my question is..would that give me an infection?


My ONLY question is: can i get an infection if the needle i used to give myself a shot w/ touched a surface (for example a modem)...if so...what kind & how long does it take to notice it?

If you had any doubt you shouldnt have used the needle, more than likely you are fine just be careful from now on

Inspect your modem for little red bumps. Also, explain the situation to it and see if it has been tested for STDs recently.

If your computer is infected with spam ware, YES you will get an infection. What are you injecting? Steroids? Why are you posting in the supplement section then? Seriously, I don't think it would cause you to get an infection.

Seriously though, computers are notoriously unsanitary surfaces. Even peripheral equipment can carry a host of infectious agents. It might not be a bad idea to get a routine checkup. Most people think it's no longer a concern, but the y2k bug still claims thousands every year.

Better safe than sorry.
