Had a good holiday weekend, was happy with everything except the pastries I devoured after Easter Dinner. Honestly don't feel too bad since I haven't missed a scheduled workout yet, and my diet is night and day compared to when I started this contest. Surprising what a little motivation can do for you.

    4 week update

am pretty happy with my 4 week results.

    Bust (-1 3/4")
    Waist (-1 7/8")
    Hips (-1 3/4")
    Weight (-11.2 pounds)

I am noticing the rolls in my back are turning into waves and my shoulders are finally getting defined. I am waiting for the day when I can hang my purse handles on my shoulder and they don't slide off! Nothing irritates me more

I am not ready to take pictures again yet. I am thinking I will at the half way mark in four more weeks.

Heading to Florida with 100 high school kids on a charter bus this week (15 hour ride!). I hope I can stick to healthy food! I think the hotel has a gym, so I might be utilizing that if I can sneak away for a little while.
Smile :) It makes people wonder what you are up to!

Why is chocolate and PB one of the most heavenly combinations in the world? Probably just to tempt me during this prep. But as good as it may taste it stayed a memory and didn't reach my taste buds. Diet and training is spot on. 5% here we come.....

    i did surprisingly well

i was so glad that somebody brought a fruit platter to the family get-together. i ate as much fruit as i could and skipped out on the ham and other side dishes.

on a side note, i find "The Biggest Loser" very motivational. if you've never heard of it, you should check it out, or buy a complete season so you can watch it from the beginning.

Anyhow, progress pics. Starting Pics on left. From 3/09 so... 27 days in
these starting pics are from my DS Adrenalean log, which started 1 day before I started my OBF log. Hence the lack of newspaper, but I was the same size those 2 days so, its the same thing lol.

Maybe its me, but Collarbone showing up a hell of a lot more. Abs/obliques starting to look like they will apear eventually. Love handles got smaller. Stomach loose skin got worse
Back to me looks wider at the top, maybe its just me though. Thoughts?

Did nothing for easter but work on my site model for my thesis...didn't even get the damn thing done on time, so its an automatic 0. Oh well, I did go out for a scotch on the 2nd in remembrance of my dad.

Definitely feeling the stress, losses have been minimal, .5" this week around my waist, nothing around my hips or thighs.

    Hey everyone,

I have been so busy with all of the things going on in life at the moment!! All great things, so nothing too negative to be chatting about. But I have had far too many chocolate Easter eggs these past two days. They are for my son, but somehow they end up in my tummy!!??? I must get my diet back on track and sweat my butt off this week due to my overindulgences....

I Hope everyone is doing well, I have not yet weighed/measured myself so I will do so this Thursday... Hopefully this weekend didn't do too much damage to me. As a sidenote, I love the livestrong website for my meal tracking,by far the simplest online journal I have used...

these starting pics are from my DS Adrenalean log, which started 1 day before I started my OBF log.

Thoughts?
Looking good. I can definitely see the difference.

    Congrats on your progress.

This is going to sound terribly trite and rude, and I really hope it doesn't come across as such.

Just build it up. (unless of course you have some kind of reason why you can't or asmtha)

I'm by no means a stellar runner, but much much better then I was, even 3 months ago. I've gone from a 15minute steady pace to 40minute steady pace. It hurts, and is painful and makes me feel like I'm going to die, but I'm getting there.
    Strive for more.

This week, going down (daily) from 2395 cal to 2080 cal, from 202g carbs to 146g carbs, protein is about the same at 243g, and bumped my fat up a little to 74grams. Im starting to look more cut, love the progress., need way more work on the abs though. I will have new measurements and weight tracked along with photos in the next few days.
    Make every rep count.

ok well I fell thru my mamas back porch today. I am all jacked up. My left side from my ribs to my ankle looks like a wild cat attacked me. My ankle, knee, ribs and lower back is all out of sorts and quite frankly I am a hurting unit and also pissed because I had an appt to see my dr for a follow up tomorrow and the office called and cancelled me so now I cant see him for my fall.

I dunno what to do. I can still do upper body exercises if I am careful about my back and ribs, but lower body is not an option so this is going to slow me way down as if this challenge wasnt hard enuff, sheesh.

Diet will stay in check which is good but how can ya lose weight on just dieting? Im really ticked. Im crazy upset. Im sorry, I usually will not post negative crap, as I prefer to lift everybodys spirits for the contest but this WILL compromise my results. Now what!
