fck this low self esteem bull****.

right now self conciousness and the thought of other people judging, combined with past things (laziness, unable to get the type of body i want) really messes with my head.

and its become almost impossible to break out of the shell. iv reached to the point where i have broken contact with all my friends.

this x2, + theres this chick at work that I like is really into me but Im too big of a pussy to do anything. Its all just really messed up, it actually makes me lol.

Please guys, serious thread. I have some major issues. I have chances to hang with 'cool' dudes, drink with them, play ball with them on saturdays, possibly **** their hot women friends but I just don't ever take the chance/risk and stay in my ****ing comfort zone. It's starting to seriously bug me why I just cannot let go of insecurities and just go for something and not give a **** about the outcome or if I am embarassed or rejected. I am good looking enough to get hot girls but I am seriously unable to actually hold a normal conversation with them. In class the hottest (srs) chicks always sit beside me and talk to me and while I can act 'cool' I end up asking them on dates or whatever and simply **** it up somehow or just don't show up or do something stupid (invite a girl to come drinking with me when I was already drinking with another girl...who the **** does that)

Wtf man? why are you asking me? I swear the biggest problem anyone has these days is they take no responsibility for their own god damn life. They sit there and say, "Oh I'm just shy", or its where i grew up, or my parents made me this way, or some circumstances experiences have made me this way.

You always get a choice. Everybody does. Every time something happens to you, you get to choose how you take whether you realize it or not. Being happy and satisfied as a person is your own personal responsibility. Its all of ours.

What did you think, you would come onto a forum and some person would solve all your problems for you? Or maybe that people would just feel bad and you would get some sympathy and attention?

The only person's opinion and approval you should ever work for is your own. You are responsible for the person you become, no matter the debilitating thing that happened to you. If you want to be happy in life, you have to go out and get it and chase it.

Figure out what you want for yourself, who you want to be, what experiences you want to partake in. Work backwards from that and figure out what you have to do daily to achieve that.

There's no quick fix to this. It takes hard work and you have to be dedicated and passionate. But its for yourself so maybe that won't be so hard. People can tell you techniques and strategies, give you 30 day plans, all day long, but the only thing that will ever change your situation is your decision to better yourself, not for anyone else, but because you have a standard and you want to reach it.
