This should be made a sticky!
New legislation in the U.S. Senate would mandate that every dietary supplement would have to go through a brand new process of government review in order to stay on the market.
If this bill, S. 3002, the Dietary Supplement Safety Act, becomes law your health care choices will be drastically reduced, and many of the supplements available today will become illegal. This and other provisions of this misguided legislation affect ALL dietary supplements, including vitamins, minerals, herbs, sports, and diet products.
Tell Your Senator to OPPOSE S. 3002, the Dietary Supplement Safety Act:

then you can continue to buy fat burners with crack/speed in them (or wtv the F it was) and "natural" test boosters with steroids sprinkled in. Face it, the industry is a joke and certain companies are getting away with murder.
I understand and agree with you on having your own choice as I don't believe government intervention is the answer, however, this was inevitable.

another obama freakout /yawn.... The fact that you have absolutely no clue what your putting in your body doesn't interest you in the slightest bit? It will separate the quality companies from the bull**** ones. You will also know what your getting when you buy a supplement, just like that activate X mess that would have never happened had these supplements actually had to answer to someone.

yeah tell that to those who bought products which could seriously affect their heath. Tell that to those who spend good money on garbage prop blend products. .(i won't name companies or products in particular)
The industry did this to themselves man. they FAIL and you fail for being a tool for them.

Ok, I thought you were just randomly making that part up.
In case you haven't noticed, republicans and democrats don't exactly agree on healthcare currently. You're better off keeping the anger focused where it should be, McCain and his allies pushing this. He's the one trying to take your supplements.Latest Reviews:

as do i
However you're saying if someone does not properly research a company prior to buying an over the counter nutritional supplement, they deserve to possibly consume something that could harm them. Strong logic. The government has to protect the general well-being of the people, it is one thing to screw people over with a worthless product, it's another thing to sell them something that could have repercussions on their health.
