I have the 13mm Forever Lever Belt and love it. 10mm would have probably been thick enough.
The only downside about the lever belt is that it's not a quick process to change the size. So, you can't share the belt with other people, unless they're the same size as you are. I like it because I can put it on and just flip the lever off/on between sets.
As mentioned, it's like having a chunk of iron pipe wrapped around you. There's no give to it at all.

I bought the 13mm Inzer belt a while back. My first thought was holy crap! What did I get myself into. After I broke the belt in and figured out how to latch and unlatch the belt, then it became another piece of equipment.
WARNING this might not be the recommended way: Breaking in the belt took about a week. I soaked it in the tub overnight once, then flexed the belt over and over again every day for a week.
