This is a very personal thing but I hear it's very common among women.
I always ALWAYS get a bloated stomach. I eat well, exercise, and the two days out of the year when it's not bloated, is very flat and has decent muscle definition.
I have seen doctors about it and they always say the same thing, women have all kinds of stuff near their stomach so it tends to be out of whack. I always get recommended to take fiber, less salt, etc.
Taking fiber helps, I rarely if ever eat salty foods, eat vegetables, and drink plenty of water. So why am I always bloated?! Anyone else have this experience?
Its very disheartning when you are working so hard on your abs and you can only ever see them first thing in the morning before you eat.

For comp training I had to drop dairy, most carbs, and decided to drop BC and it made a HUGE difference. Other than that the only other things I can think of would maybe to lower your cals to get your BF low enough to see the abs. When it come time for aunt flow, I don't think there's anything you can do other than to drink even more water.

I used to have the same problem for over 5 years. When I woke up in the morning, my stomach was flat, but as the day progressed I always ended up with a distended abdomen. I was usually physically uncomfortable also, like I was full of gas that couldn't be released. It turned out to be a digestion issue--at the time I was vegan and drinking soy milk regularly. When I switched from soy milk back to cow's milk, the problem totally stopped (I suppose lactose intolerant people might have the exact opposite experience). I never suspected it was the soy milk... Anyway, it may be related to something you are eating on a regular basis, so you might want to take a closer look at that. Hope this helps.

Thanks everyone for your responses, I'm guessing that its probably like some of you said as far as some sort of food allergy. I'm not on birth control and it happens even when I'm not on my period (but when my period comes forget it) Thanks again

You might have low stomach acid if you're always bloated from eating. Ask your physician about Betaine HCL or google low stomach acid symptoms, then go to Iherb . com and possibly look into purchasing Betaine HCL w/Pepsin.
Gentian Root is also something you could look into- - to use along with Betaine HCL.

Snap, I regularly get a bit of a bloat on, at first I thought it was simply to many bulky carbs (clean though). I cut down on those, and it seemed to work a little, but there wasn't a huge difference, or enough of a chagne to keep my satisfied. I then cut down on the amount of milk i had, and this helped as well - no more than 350ml a day, and thats with two shakes.
The combination of the two has helped lower the bloating for me, along with a temporary cut in total calories consumed. Have you thought about taking some of those digestive supplements? After all you do eat a significantly large amount of food than people who dont bb do.-101,221, I can see the light - thanks
