use common sense.
Fit is more important than name brands. You will look like a complete moron if you wear something nice but wrong size. Wear clothes that complement your figure. Regardless of how fashion-ignorant you are there has to be shirts that you like that make you just feel good. Stick with those. When you feel good in your own clothes it will show and make you look more appealing.

shirts/jackets: shop american apparel, but you can get their stuff for way cheaper if you search for sites that sell wholesale. i just got an american apparel hoodie for $25 instead of $42.
jeans/shorts: urban outfitters or levis
shoes: go with vans. i have their zapato boat shoes, you can wear them to the beach or to a nice dinner.
my typical outfit as of lately: corduroy shorts from urban outfitters, vans zapato shoes in navy, and plain Tshirts from american apparel.
don't underestimate simplicity.Turning my life around.

im gonna get negged for dressing like this cuz i know alot of u ppl hate hollister. but this is basically the way i dress. hollister, A&F, AE all have nice clothes that fit me well. i hate dressing black (no racist) just cuz i used to dress like that but once i tried clothes that fit i loved it.
i was cought off gaurd btw while moving thats why im standing like that lol

white polo ($30 tops)+nice fitting jeans ($40 tops)+ white shoes ($80-90)+ a nice jacket/hoodie ($60 tops)=win.
