I could do about 100 3 months back but it wasn't the strictest of form.
Not so much calling bull**** but I call bad form where you're swinging the weight up or your bouncing it off your thights.
Keep your back steady, slight bend in the knees to releive pressure, upper arm close to the torso and not moving throughout the lift at all. Do not curl the wrist at the top of the movement.
EDIT: Said lift twice.

i agree 30-90 is bull****...
Im 16 been liftin for about a year...I bench in the 185 area and can curl 100lbs...u cant curl 90 lbs..sorry bud...and if thats bull****...ur bench stats me be as well
His squat and bench are reasonable, I wish I had his bench, cuz mine is weak as hell and sucks.. pretty much from bad form while doing it but the last two weeks I did strictly perfect form, and went up 10 lbs so I'm pretty happy bout that.
But come on, you're obviously counting your weight wrong.. there's no way you jumped from 30-90 in 4 months.

I take what I do very seriously too.. and I didn't call you a liar, I just said that's a pretty massive jump and it's difficult to believe.
So if I were you I'd calm down just a bit!

I am 15 and I cant even curl 65... How do you go from 30 to 90...?
One of my friends who has 15 and a half inch biceps cant curl 90, and he has been working out since 6th grade ( He is in 11th now).
It doesnt sound right, 140 sounds fine to bench, 90 sounds fine to squat, but if you can curl 90 pounds I would expect your bench and sqats to be double.
If I saw any 13 year old curl 90 pounds, I would be in one of those "Jaw" dropping states.Last edited by Wicked_Rain; 08-22-2004 at 07:16 PM.

thats inconclusive anyway. Some ppl are just weaker or stronger than others. Your friend is probably fat and has fat arms, even if they are lean the size doesnt mean he is strong, u think 15" arms are big? lol
90lb is only what, 40kg?? lets not go nuts thinking that is super heavy
I believe he can curl 90 pounds easy, but yeah its a bit suss that the others are so low, i woulda thought 140lb bench would be a walk in the park..My journal http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=5662511

well a bb curl doesn't sound that farfetched, but i hope it's not true:P (note the envy talking). But if a lot of people here supposedly db curl over 40, and have stats close to his, then that'd prolly be like close to 90 (but probably without strict form). Either way have to be on roids cause you bench a little more than me (sig's wrong):P.
lifting for 13 months
age: 17
height: 5'11
weight: 175
bf %: 11%
deadlift: 355
squat: 270 (estimate)
OH squat:100 (damn, these are hard)
1 arm d-bell snatch: around 85

I am new to bodybuilding and to say it myself, im pretty damn weak. The curls I cant do are only on a certain pulley system type machine my friend has. It seems so much harder then the machines at my local gym. I havent been actually able to try and see how much I can do on the curling machines at my gym, because some of my tendons in my wrists are bothering me atm. I dunno, Its just one of those, have to be there and see it type of things to belive it.Last edited by Wicked_Rain; 08-22-2004 at 07:41 PM.

max curl 90 lbs
that's a 35 on each side of an e-z curl bar....5'4 13 yr old working out 4 months??? B.S. until you show me a vid.
why do really think it's b.s? Look at your sig.
You can curl 90, bench 140 ....but your max squat is 95!!!
You can curl what you squat....dude you're not a troll you're just uninformed. 90 lbs. on a machine by the way doesn't count.
