    My post workout protein shake

So basically all of my life, I've always tried to eat nothing fatty, just so I could stay looking cut but I'm sick of it. I'm too skinny (6'0'' 165lbs) so I recently started bulking about a week and a half ago. I also picked up a 4 lb tub of nitro tech hardcore for pretty cheap from a local guy and I was curious as to if my post workout shake was too much.

    16 oz whole milk
    1/2 cup dry quaker oats
2 scoops of NT protein powder
    2 tbsp. peanut butter

It comes out to be roughly 900 calories. Is that too much for my body to take at one time? My metabolism is pretty much lightning so I don't see the problem but more experienced guys could help me out with this.

    Thanks.

That's perfect man, especially if you're wanting to bulk. If you think it's too many calories, maybe take out the peanut butter, but leave the milk, oats and protein. Don't take those out.
    No brain, no gain.
    I rep back.

That sounds pretty good even though im not a huge fan of muscle tech products. Dont forget that post workout your body needs sugars as well to raise your insulin levels. Try eating white bread, plain bagel, or something like gatorade or any other type of juice.
