Talking 233grams of Protein in a Subway sandwhich?

This has got to be a typo? http://www.chowbaby.com/10_2000/fast...itFLAG=ItemLVL

What do you think? I think it is because it seems to good to be true. I am guessing they accidently added that 3 and it is 23 grams.

yah...more like 19-20g of protien. A sub sandwich will more than likely have about 200-240cals....I use to have a nutrition pamplet for subway....now I hit the deli and make my own.

Is that scientifically accurate? So there's no point in having a shake that has over 50 grams all at once?

that all depends...i've had meals that are 80g+ and i'm fine. it all depends on your body. and you could also make your body adapt to consuming larger ammounts of protein in one sit by gradually increasing your intake say...week by week.

Yeah, I have just found this place called pollo tropical, I eat it about 3-4 times adays. I usually eat about 40-80grams of protein in my sitting. Good stuff.

I am probably eating about 160-180 aday, now.

You mention that you are 'fine'? What would happen if you eat more protein than you can in one sitting?

I used to eat subway sandwiches for lunch during bulking but figured its not a good idea because although it has some protein for musclebuilding, it has way too many carbs. Quite frankly, not even the foolongs made me full. I always end up eating 2 or 3 footlongs and gained more fat than I wanted in a bulk. That gives me about 2000 calories alone in one sitting, lol. I figured I am better off preparing my own foods in which I can throw in more protein which makes me fuller faster without all the unneeded calories.

I have always read that anything over 60 grams consumed at one time will just end up in your waste. I eat 8 meals a day so I have no problem staying under the max.

Good lord, I think I will stick with my 200-250g, I eat enough protein there to throw up.

BTW guys, do you think I will see any gains from eating that much? I was only eating about 50-70g perday during the school year, however, I found that it was to low and now I am eating that much. I was eating that much and didn't see any gains at all.

So far, my weight loss was something like this UP until now:
Start: age:15|250lbs.|5'4" tall|I didn't measure body fat, but my waster was something like 44-46 inchers around, you do math O_o

    April 4, 2003: 250
    May 15, 2003: 222
    June 29, 2003: 195
    July 17, 2003: 188
    August 11, 2003: 176
    August 30, 2003: 170
Latter September (didn't log day, sorry), 2003: 163
    October 14, 2003: 158
    November 6, 2003: 155
December 26, 2003: 16 Eh good ole christmas holiday gets to ya
    February 15, 2004: 153
End weight loss: age:16|153lbs.|5'8"|something like 12% body fat, Don't ask how I lost so much weight the first 4 months, I just cut back on cokes, cakes, and what not, really didn't eat much and very low calories 800-1200, pretty much starvation diet works though, it is gone now.
    Start Mateneancor/Bulk me up stage:
    March 2, 2004: 152
    April 4, 2004: 153
    May 16, 2004: 151
    June 9fh, 2004: 149
I am now 8% bf, but how does that go down, and me not gain any weight, I am just frustrated to tell you all the truth Bench went from 60 in september to 130 now adays though ;_)

gains doesn't pertain to just protein alone. its all about eating way more calories than you burn off...but of the right nutrients of course.
