    So i saw this guy in the gym...

    So i was benching 95 in the gym today(im a sohpomore) and then i see some senior maxing 215. I saw him getting it up slowly, and once he finally gets it, i tell him he could do alot better if he breathed more. Then he kind of went like, "your telling me this?" and he just walked away.

    Just be straight up and be like.. ya you might be stronger than me.. but at least I know some common sense. If your body has more oxygen, it will be able to function better. Also holding your breath while lifting will likely make you pass out.. or slow down the blood circulation.. which would not benefit you at all.

    I always hold my breath on bench, and breath between reps, holding you're breath gives added stability, yeh don't tell anyone how to workout unless they are using horrible form and risk injury, especially if they are twice you're size lol.
