I spent the first ten minutes fooling around with the ERG. Somebody broke the foot harness, which makes it pretty much useless. I tried duct tape... no luck.
Fast: 18 hrs preworkout
Back Squats: I felt like I coulda done 5 reps no problem. I went a hair off balance on the 2nd rep, but bar speed and power were top notch. Something exciting to note is that my last actual 1RM that I tested back in October was 345. I just went 4# heavier for 3! Monday my previous 1RM will bee my 5RM! Woohoo!
There has been a dull ache in my knee the past few weeks after I squat... it is hardly detectable and it's gone by the time I finish presses, but it's been recurring for awhile now. I assume this is just normal, but anybody else deal with this?
Press: Coulda done 5 here too, or at least it felt that way.
Power Cleans: Again this week, I was just getting so exhausted about halfway through the 5 sets... but my last 3 reps were real solid, and again, I felt like I coulda done 5... I don't know where this energy is coming from, but there's plenty of gas in the tank. And I remembered to stamp my feet.
Rows: Almost forgot to do them... but I remembered at the last minute.
Assistance Work: Added 10# to my tri ext's, felt good. Is it true that on a cable machine, 130# isn't really 130#? Because the pulley bears part of the load? anybody know?
I'm retarded when it comes to counting db curls (because I've never done them), I counted off 8 reps after having done 4/arm. Duh! Next set I did 10 reps to make up for it... last set I could only do 6. Whatever, I doubt it really matters, my arms still got swole.
Bottom Line: No slowing down for me!

Here is a link to the YouTube channel that Panacea. is claiming is his: http://www.youtube.com/user/youngunzvt
Notice the user name?
Here is a link to younggunz' training log on Sherdog.net: http://www.sherdog.net/forums/f49/younggunzz-635965/
younggunz has posted other pictures of himself on the Sherdog forums. He is a former collegiate wrestler, was an Army Ranger, is not 6'4" tall, does not play lacrosse or rugby, and does not act like a frauding douchebag on internet forums. I also know his name and where he went to college, but am not going to post that here.
Panacea. has never posted a picture of himself. He does not wrestle, was not an Army Ranger, says he is 6'4" tall, says he plays lacrosse and rugby, and acts like a frauding douchebag on internet forums.
Something tells me they are not the same person. I am inclined to believe that Panacea. is full of **** and is a frauding douchebag.90 lb jumps...NEXT WEEK!

I started coming down with a cold Sunday night, didn't sleep great, started winter quarter Monday, got to the gym late and once there, didn't warm up properly and had to deal with 40+ people sweatin to the oldies (oldies = Cher and Madonna dance tracks). The stars did not align for Bango and so the winning streak was broken.
Fast: 19.25 hrs preworkout
Back Squats: On the 4th rep I basically did a good morning out of the bottom (hips came up before back) and almost stalled. Just barely got it and racked the bar.
Press: Just barely got 4th rep again. Racked the bar.
Power Cleans: I actually got all my power cleans! They weren't the prettiest, but I caught the bar high enough. I was actually pretty surprised by this.
Assistance Work: Did some ghetto GHR's on the lat pull. I used a little rebound at the bottom though. Got almost all my sit-ups.
Bottom Line: I actually felt pretty strong for the workout... but fell short for the most part. Coulda been worse though, cuz I feel much sicker today. I'll get back on the PR train in week 10!There is no greater natural advantage in life than to have an enemy overestimate your faults, unless it is to have a friend underestimate your virtues.

Oddly, I got no such ache in my knee yesterday... so maybe it'll go away now. Hopefully.
And, yeah, that's what I figured with the cable station... I didn't really think I was extending 130# to lockout. It would be nice if they gave an accurate depiction of the weight moved though. It's just like the guys who think they're leg pressing 1000# even though it's but a fraction given the angle. There is no greater natural advantage in life than to have an enemy overestimate your faults, unless it is to have a friend underestimate your virtues.
