i will need to get a skip vid soon - i was tearing that **** the fcuk up! I have a new trick too, which caused a lot of the damage on my back practising lol
That was my first serious skip in aaaaggggggggeeeeeeeesssssssss so to come in with that form was pleasing - just lacked the endurance to really keep it firing
Pool - where i work is in an aquatic centre. After my shift a fellow worker who was having a work out finished up and had a quick dip"There's levels of retardation most people don't even know about"

nice to have access to a pool. the gym i'm at now (joined b/c of the pool) is always full with farking whales and crap. you can never, never, ever get one of the lanes open. it really pisses me off. tried early morning, midday, evening, late night. always packed with people floating and crap. ughh.
yeah get a skipping vid up- I'm not really any good at 'tricking' with a rope but definitely have endurance and decent speed. I usually mimic ski motions and leaping/bounding when I'm in functional skipping mode.
oh and don't worry, heavy weights will be back for me again in another week or two. shoulder should be better so I can get back to GFS!

Oh nice cardio session matt! It has been ages since you've done skips! Are you thinking about becoming the conditioning king again?

nothing worse than traffic in a pool. Luckily we just frolicked and got some sun lol
I shall vid the next session - i hope im on my game cos after talking it up there is pressure!
i do enjoy the skipping!
So now the list fo thigns to get on film is: dancing, karaoke, stuff. Got it !
the thought had crossed my mind Jen. Im thinking more about boxing right now than the circuits. Im just wondering if i want to be doubling up days with training as I had in the past. I know if i ease into it my work capacity can handle it, and i do love boxing. I might just have to be smart about it. Id want to be punchign 3x a week at a minimum if iw ere to focus on it again"There's levels of retardation most people don't even know about"

Hahahaha... sorry
Are you still doing those cooking videos too
Might want to have your finger at 100% before getting into boxing again. Sounds odd but an injured finger could cause irritation and less powerful punches? I do miss your long exciting descriptions of your boxing classes. Maybe add more conditioning workouts over time then hit the boxing classes full bore?My Journal:

Everyone watch your back! This boy is catching up and catching up quick.
Nice session mate, will take your advice on the 15/45, 20/40's .
About the focus on boxing I suppose your going to have to have to choose between focusing on weights or on conditioning on the side? Or are you going to be your crazy ol self and do all 3This above all: to thine own self be true,
And it must follow, as the night the day,
Thou canst not then be false to any man

Strong cardio Matt, I love the layout. Skipping + swimming = immediate win. Glad to see you working on your fitness again, don't think strength will suffer.

id likely start out with just some bag work then maybe try to get a friend interested and just work pads and sparring with him. Sparring is the best workout you can get.
I have to decide about the types of conditioning I want to be doing. I love the old super intense circuit type things i was doing but not sure yet.
At the momen, boxing is all im certain I want to be doing more of - with out dropping strenght
lol - cheers matey
lifting will still certainly be a priority - im not ready to lose strength or stop gaining strength as I was in the past. I just have to be a bit more conservative with my work load. It is possible
haha. I probably deserve to have jokes made about me cos i was skipping shirtless near where the childcare place is and could see the female workers gathering lol
the swim wasnt for fitness, just for a cool down after work. Even treading water was tiring so I dont even want to think about how my swim fitness is lol
Im trying to find a balance right now - the fact im in a deficit isnt going to be helping but once Im stupid lean I can get more food in and that will help for sure
i know! thanks carolina - the finger is getting better. Last night i took the chance of not wearing a bandaid to bed and woke up to find i scraped the scab a bit off and there was blood on my sheets - damn!
haha i know i know. Summer time is only days away!
hey mate, I've been well. Had a few injuries getting in the way of things but thats awesome you're coming down under - should meet up for a beer or 27"There's levels of retardation most people don't even know about"

looking good mate
i'll train you up to eb the best ever KG - first you gotta wax my car and vacuum my room and wash/iron my clothes - one day you will understand!
i think he was referring to my whipped up back that looked like i had been given a good working over with the cat-o-9tails
I dont mind putting on a show - what can I say? Im a giver
cardi-ohh yeah Roddy.
Havent had any roo today, but i got some thawed and ready to go for before i head to celebrate this great and momentous occasion - I speak of course, of Friday!
thanks Tiff - im feeling leaner ever day actually. Im sure a lot of the initial feeling was just a bit of water and glycogen dropping out but it does feel nice to not be bloated all the time lol. I always enjoyed calorie restriction tbh - just feels nice to feel lean
Workout:
Front Squats: 60kg 8, 70kgX3
80kg X 5,5 Just wanted to work the form here. Felt so much better than the back squats the other day - obviosuly not the same weights I was on before but we'll get there
Sumo DL's: 70kg X8, 90kg X 5, 110kg X 4
130kg X 5,5,5 God i've wanted this for so long. I had dreamt of it, imagined it, craved it - and it was all i could have hoped for. Felt great actually. Crazy light compared to old numbers but disturbingly not that light to perform. Form was bang on though
BSS: 50lbs X 8/leg with 60sec in b/w legs Fark, when bending to pick up the DB's to do the second and final set on the right leg, my left (old injury) hammie had some pain and tightness - ditched the set and didnt do leg press as planned. better safe than sorry
Bike: Easy 10min to get some blood through the legs. Good stretch
Everything was going well. Numbers obviosuly down but to be expected - unfortunate about the hammie but i dont think it will pose a problem"There's levels of retardation most people don't even know about"

I'll PM you a list of chores
