I saw one dude this morning at my gym wearing a Lycra vest while working out. As far as I know, you're only supposed to wear it while doing cardio. Am I right or wrong?

if it helps cool u then it'd be a great thing.. heat is always an enemy when working out/cardio

Yeah it does keep you cool. It's actually a 'recovery' vest. Still I don't know why people say you can't wear it while doing weights.Originally Posted by MrSinister

I thought they were just good for areas where you chaff and possibly for cooling you off--although UnderArmour and stuff like that seems to make more sense now.
