Story goes like this. I was fat and knew I needed to get in shape. I drank too much, smoked too much and ate too much. I started walking on a daily basis and started to eat right. I cut out the sugar, ate whole grains and reduced my portion sizes. I also quit eating bar food. I used to hit the bar for 5 rum and cokes and a plate of fried cheese without batting an eye.
I set a goal to compete in a triathlon which I did. I lost about 50 lbs in 1 1/2 years. Problem was I lacked muscle and gained a little fat when I reduced my cardio after my tri.
That was last year in July (first frame in the 2nd pic.) I was about 184, 18-19% bf.
I started to work out at a gym and gained alot of newbie muscle and a little more fat and was sitting at 200 and 20% BF in January. (2nd frame.)
In April I hired a trainer from the gym that I admired, looked the way I wanted to look and was the same age as me. He taught me proper form, mind muscle connection and intensity and really fine tuned my diet (as long as I don't cheat!!)
In June I weighed 195 and 15%. (The last frame.) The goal is 10% BF at 185 lbs.

I joined this forum just for this thread alone... Im apart of another BB forum... and I gotta say, this is purely motivational material. I have never been so impressed before.
Stuff like this needs to get alot more exposure to benefit America. Seriously.
If everyone who was out of shape knew that there was hope and could be shown... this country would be in better shape.
I believe this thread is made of stuff people need to get in the gym.

Wow! All those transformations are fantastic! Kudos to all for taking control of their bodies and most importantly, their health. I'm about a month in to my transformation, and the results are already showing. I'm at about 20% BF, 263lbs, 6'6". Started at about 275 at the end of May. I plan on posting my transformation pic on August 15th, and hoping to knock everyone's socks off. I'm on the following Supps:
Multivitamin
Omega Fish Oil Capsules
SuperPump 250
Green Tea (not the capsules)
Whey Protein
I'm at about 2400 cals/day, with virtually no salt (it's the devil!), and my average daily plan is as follows:
MORNING
1 whole egg, 7 egg whites
Banana
1/2 Cup Oats
MID/LATE MORING
Baked or grilled chicken Breast
orange
1 cup broccoli
LUNCH
Salmon or Tuna (mixed with nonfat mayo) on whole wheat bread
small sweet potato
LATE AFTERNOON
40 grms Whey Protein with water
Scoop of Peanut Butter
POST WORKOUT
40 grms Whey Protein with water or skim milk
DINNER
Chicken Breast with Spinach Greens and peppers
1 cup broccoli
LATE NIGHT
Tuna Fish with nonfat mayo and Jalapeno Peppers (zing!)
*Need to mix in some Almonds for good fats
*I've mix in a diet pepsi now and then. Most importantly, I drink a couple gallons of water a day.
All of your inspiring transformations are proof-positive that weight control is not about magic diet pills, or The Zone, Atkins, or thousands of crunches. It's a lifestlyle, and that lifestyle includes proper diet, strength training, and cardio for a healthy heart. Congratulations to all and I can't wait until August 15th when I'll post my 10 week transformation pics!
Thanks for starting this thread! If you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always gotten.

Oh... just the mention makes me cringe. That is one tough ass diet although it does work- I lost about 14lbs. in the four weeks i was on it... put maybe 2-3 back on the following week from water weight.
It did a damn good job of getting rid of my cravings. Just make sure you drink a ****load of water while you are on it. I was taking in 1.5-2 gallons each day and still felt dehydrated.
One of the nicest things about it is it's simplicity. There is no deciding what you are going to make- or even any work involved in preparing your meals. I measured all of my shakes for the week on a Sunday night, separated them for each day, then chugged my shakes every 3 hours.

Thanks! It was (and continues to be) an amazing journey. PM me to remind me to send you a link to the BB post that has this info.
I'm up at 4am every morning now, making breakfast, working out. Just started a new 6 week cycle of splits & core. Heck, my nutritionist just UPPED my cals and specifically my fats & carbs. YEAH!!
I plan on adding to this thread in about 3 weeks in that it will be my 1/2 year "anniversary" of my 1st "Biggest Loser" class. I'll be curious as to what everyone has to say about my 6 month progress.
Yup, the shirt's coming off! LOL"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure"
