I just realized we're in the final week. Final weigh in will be on Tuesday the 1st.

It's too bad the contest didn't do better than it did, but I can honestly say that I have enjoyed being part of this team. I wish we could have kept more team members, but I think it's hard to get people to commit to a contest for 6 months. Anyway, it's been fun and I want to congratulate all of you who went the distance. I don't plan to stick around this forum after the contest is over, so I wish all of you the best in your lives and in the world of health and fitness.

It has been a pleasure, folks.

Best of luck to you. If you mean not being able to post pics every month for 6 months I can understand that, but if you mean not being able to stick to their plan for 6 months is ridiculous. This change shouldnt be made for 6 months for for the rest of their life, hence lifestyle. This contest died so much, just seems kind of depressing, but this is the reason why there are so many fa tpeople in the US or even outside of it, everyone wants it, actions speak loude rthan words I guess...

I had a good cardio day today. I ran 3 miles, walked a 1/2 mile and then did about 15 minutes of high intensity on a full body elliptical machine.

    Weighed in at 275.8.

No workout today. I stayed up until 12:30 last night installing a garage door opener so I decided to skip the workout this morning.

Just a few more days and this contest is OVER. I just wish I had made more progress. I didn't even come close to accomplishing my goal for this contest.

Today was a cardio day for me. I ran three miles and then did 15 minutes of HIIT on the elliptical.

Hey ya'll, I'll say my goodbye to Team B today since I don't think I'll be able to check back in until sometime next week. I think we're all winners just for staying committed to this contest and showing support to one another. Shane, you were the GREATEST team leader and your encouragement has been totally awesome throughout this 6 month journey. I really appreciate all the support and advice that you've given me along the way.

Good luck to you all in your continued progress. I'll check in on your body spaces every blue moon to say hi and see how you all are doing.

    Take care!

Yeah it was pretty sad to see how many people don't have the commitment to stick with something...6months is a very short time if you think about it.

I know not everybody made the progress they wanted to, but sticking it out and making a little progress is better than giving up completely. But I guess that just showed who actually wants to better themselves, and those who follow fads.

Good luck to everybody with choosing their healthy lifestyle, I hope everybody sticks with it and doesn't fall off and lose sight of their goals.

I am fluctuating between 216-218 right now...I can't say I am disappointed in the least with my results from the competition...yeah, I didn't hit my goal, but I am still getting there.

I'm not sure if i was disqualified i saw tnm dropped out but the reason i never got around to uploading my pictures is cus my grandmother has become ill and this web site was one of the last things on my mind. i am still dieting and exercising but i really haven't loss much weight since i had started that V-diet I'm currently at 255 which is still less than what i was at when i started back in jan at 272. i just wanted to let everyone know that i am doing good and thanks everyone for the support i have gotten i am going to try and start getting on here a bit more from now on.also i would just like to wish everyone the best of luck with their fat loss journeys and also thought id let everyone know that i will be attending school to get my bachelors degree in dietetics so that i can become a registered dietician. i have come to enjoy my new lifestyle of healthy eating and exercising and all that i figured what better way to make this a permanent part of my life than to make it my career and assist other people in weight loss and weight gaining etc etc.plus i can practice what i learn in school on my self and friends and family members.

im back at it, and nothing or no one is going to stop me.

Much thanks to both of you for the kind words.

I'm posting this final update on behalf of Tanizaki, who started the contest at 195.4 and has ended it at 174.0 for a 21.4 pound loss. Good job, Tanizaki!! We like the "cut of your jib!!"

As for me, while there is no doubt that I am in much better condition now than I was in January, I didn't really manage to lose much weight. I started at 284 and finished at 275. My starting body fat was 31% and my finishing body fat is approximately 27%. My goal for the rest of this year is to lose 5 pounds a month, putting me at 245 by the end of the year.

For those of you who finished the contest, congratulations on a job well done. I wish you all the best of luck in your future health and fitness endeavors.

I can honestly say that I enjoyed being a part of Team B. All of you guys were great and even though we didn't all meet our goals I think everyone got something positive out of this contest.

With that being said, I will be leaving BB.com. I grew tired of sifting through all the porn and spam long ago and the only thing that kept me here was my commitment to this team. So, I wish all of you guys the best of luck in your lives and I hope you will all continue to work towards better health. Every one of you were an asset to this team and I appreciate all of you. It has been a pleasure folks. I bid you farewell.

    Y'all take care.

    -Shane
