LOL!! This post takes the cake.
Cowboys - i dont even need to make an argument, just remind you that romo cant catch, the tuna wont be there next year, and TO is already destroying that team. Cowboys = choke artists (see 2nd redskins game, seahawks game, so on...)
Saints - Got destroyed by the bears, how are they better again? Thats like me saying OSU is better than florida after losing by 30....
Pats - Blew a huge lead against the colts, that means theyre better?
Chargers - LOL, not with marty at the helm
Bengals - you do realize they went 8-8.....you havtn gotten any smarter have you
Titans - another 8-8 team, sweet. Why not throw the giants and the rams in there while youre at itI am not voting AGAINST McCain, and I am not voting FOR Obama. My vote is 100% anti-Palin

1. YES, he had Edgerin James for 6 of those years
2. Harrison is great but the others arent that special, theyre ok though.
3. Addai-Average, doesnt have the break away speed
4. Oline-Not as great as they look. The other teams have not blitz Manning as often.
5. BS
6. Yup. The most potent offense won the game with 6 fgs.

Dont you mean edgerin james had him? Take a look at edges stats this year and your argument dies. Peyton's stats didnt exactly die off this year with two unproven rbs....
Ook bud. Reggie wayne could be a number 1 on 90% of the teams in the league and how about you look at dallas clarks stats against the pats last week (im on such a roll im bustin rhymes out here). Hes a top tight end
Average... thats your opinion. His stats and everyone in the league says otherwise
So now its the other teams fault peyton doesnt get sacked? Teams blitz him all the time, thats how you beat the colts (see steelers, patriots of 2 years ago)
uhh did we watch the same game?
Against the best defense in the league. They drove the entire field 7 times, thats 7 more times that the cowboys did in that same round. Bitter much?I am not voting AGAINST McCain, and I am not voting FOR Obama. My vote is 100% anti-Palin

Bears will play a Cover 1 defense like they do for every snap. They rush the front 4 and leave the linebackers in the backfield. Like the Patriots, expect their corners to take away the Colts outside receivers (double team Harrison), leaving Urlacher inside to cover the likes of Dallas Clark and someone else to cover Utecht. Also, Manning likes to hit his backs...who's got them covered? As of this season, the Colts offense has been concentrating on shorteer passes rather than big ones.
Also, Manning is given two weeks to dissect a very one-dimensional Bears defense, while they have two weeks to disect a very complex Colts offense.
Also consider the Colts' playoff success against the rush and .....Rex Grossman.
I believe that if Dungy can get his team calmed down early they can take a lead first. This is bad for the Bears because that has potential to put pressure on Grossman to perform, which he won't. Also, if the Bears score first, the Colts aren't as pressured since their passing game is so good.
Colts win with potential for a blowout.Last edited by Lothar; 01-30-2007 at 01:48 PM.

Are you Kidding ME?
This has to be the stupidest analyst i have ever read.
Bears:
Is it their fault they play in the NFC? And what do you mean how do you let Thomas Jones run for 130 yards? Last time i checked Jones had a 1300+ yard season last year and a good season this year especially WHILE splitting carries. Also the saints dont have a strong defense and Niether does seattle.
Why are you complaining bout the Bears Defense scoring TDS? isnt that a part of the game. Hey here an idea next time vasheer intercepts a pass hell run to his 20 yard line just so the Bears have to go 80 yards. Good Logic. Somone call the Ravens and Bucs and tell them they have to give their rings back.
Colts:
Clearly the best team in the AFC. Last time i checked they were the last undefeated team in the AFC WITH many injuries. Heres an idea why dont you go to google and search Bob Sanders. and Yes 1 player on defense can make a difference.
Stop the pass and youll win? Last time i checked the colts rallied around their running game that opened the passing game. DId you even watch their games? Oh thats right i guess we have to make it "fair" like the Bears do with their defense so for now on Peyton Manning is no longer allowed to audible on the line of scrimmage from pass to run or the direction of a run.

Chargers are the best team in the NFL. Lost a playoff game to the pats because of stupid mistakes after stupid mistakes. Oh well.
Bears V Colts should be a good game.Last edited by MrDreamWeaver; 01-30-2007 at 02:10 PM.

Wow i'm so proud of the misc today. We bitchslapped joelz back to reality like never before. Other times we've talked some sense into him but nothing like this, it was quick, ruthless, and to the point. Notice how he stopped posting in his own thread even though hes still logged in...

I believe it will take big mistakes on the Colts behalf to not win this game.
If you've watched the Bears play at least a few of their regular season games you would have noticed how many they somehow managed to win even though it seemed they would lose. Some call it skill, I call it BS that's about to run out.
At the same time the Colts have edged out many teams throughout this season by a thin margin. However, the big difference here is that they are consistent in what they do. Maybe they only win by a small margin of victory, but they managed to do it week in and week out. They don't count on the other team to lose the game, they count on themselves to win it.
I think Grossman is an awful QB and he's darn lucky they have a notable defense & special teams. I'm still in awe at how the Bears actually ended up in the Superbowl. Oh I know what could happen! Maybe this year the Bears will win in some crazy way and then people will stop talking about how the Seahawks got routed out of a championship last year and start talking about how the Bears did it.

I believe that's a big reason they've done so well in the playoffs this year.
It used to be they beat the **** out of every team until the playoffs, but this season, they kept the scores fairly close and shifted into the playoffs with the right mentality and a better way of dealing with a close game.
