I just finished my workout and thought a lot about the game today, and that has to be my 4th favorite Cub game I have watched in my lifetime.

#1. Cubs beating SF in the 1 game playoff
#2. Woods 20 K game
#3. The game against the Reds where Alou and Sosa went back to back in the bottom of the 9th to win it when we were down one run
#4. Today

i dunno if i can put this up there, it didnt mean much.... there were some nice games at the end of last year(brewers game) i would def. but ahead of this game......... they weren't big comebacks were they were comebacks and games that mattered

i still don't see it! it was a great win in a game were we should've had no chance, 8 runs down vrs a good pitcher pitching great early on. But it was still just a win in late may vrs a terrible team.


btw i recently re-watched woods 20k game on ESPN classic........ he looked like he was 15 years old! and he pitched insane

Well I was sleeping during the whole game and just woke up and checked MLB.com and seen how we were getting our ass kicked and came back. Nice way to never stop fighting, and it looks like Edmonds came through against a pitcher he has owned in his career.

There was a game, back in the 90's, after harry carey had his stroke, or whatever happened to him, and they brought in celebs to help call the game. Bill Murray fille din. It was against the Montreal Expos. The Cubs ended up winning about 21-18, something crazy like that. Bill Murray kept slaughtering Andre galaraga's name.

Hilarious.

Woods 20 game strikeout was definitely top 5 for me as well.

comcast sports net used to be 'fox sports net chicago'.... which used to be something else for a long time........ all local areas have their local 'comcast sports' station.

I prefer games in WGN i get them in HD over an antenna........ but its 4am right now, so i either have the choice to wake up in time for first pitch and watch it in HD or sleep in a couple hours and watch it from tivo in standard-def...... the choices.......
