Here's what I think. The Holocaust did happen, but it's been vastly exaggerated because that has given the jews the eternal victim card to play. There's proof that Hitler did kill jews on purpose (genocide), but there's no proof what-so-ever that 6 million were killed.

Brother PaulKxxx has me searching for discernment in regards to the commonly heard phrase "the Jews are God's chosen people" and how the modern state of Israel/Judaism is connected (if at all) the the Kingdom of Israel in biblical times -- of which God made a covenant to via Abraham.

So far seeing it said that modern day Judaism has no connection to the pre-Christian Jewish religion...and that Paul in the New Testament stresses that the Church is the new Israel -- ethnic background is irrelevant as to one's salvation. This the "New Israel" is God's chosen people -- NOT Jews in general in of modern day.

I haven't heard a single orthodox priest NOT condemn Israel for their genocide of the palestinians - evangelicals are something else.

The bible talks about the final judgement and armageddon, but that doesn't mean it's like a good thing or whatever, it's more like a thing God does because he HAS to.

The events leading up to armageddon should not be welcomed, we should try and avoid it from happening, not welcome it.
