This is a hard one...hard o think about and accept, but I do think the Lord wants us to give with a joyful heart.

Zero IMO. Let the government's taxes be enough. SRS.
Real talk, when you encounter a scenario of someone begging for money, or a charity/donation table setup outside of a gym or gas station (HATE THIS SO MUCH), keeping the $10 or $20 in your wallet to "pleasantly survive this encounter" is enough tithe for me. SRS.i7-14700k

I think that in the scriptures tithing was replaced by giving and you should give what is in your heart to give.
Christians are encouraged to voluntarily give to the church and God in proportion to their wealth, rather than being commanded to tithe. The New Testament churches are instead encouraged to give generously, and Jesus often mentions giving generously. 2 Corinthians 9:6-8 says, "But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver".

I don't give money to randoms/beggars. Too many pieces of shiit scam artists there. I don't give to the Church because who knows if that money goes to people who need it or preserving church buildings, vs housing priests in posh downtown penthouses or providing legal defense to paedophile priests. I give to a select few charities though.

I did a $1k bet with some miscer for the 2020 election, I lost. I donated the $1k to schriners children hospital... I've been bombarded by them for 4 years now with letter after letter trying to get more $ out of me.
That was the biggest loss out of the bet, I didnt give a fk about the $ or losing... But the ****ing 4 years of harassment I've received, what a ****ing L.
