I get paid to go up in them, but it is easily the least favorite part of my job. It's bad enough normally, but then you get things like the one I was on in Brazil last year that was clearly overloaded (instead of weighing everything, they just had everyone estimate their body and luggage weight), or last week when the pilot taxied over to the edge of the helipad both times we took off from the rig instead of taking off from the center. No idea what was up with that.
