Just started Ghost of Tsushima and it looks and runs beautifully on Steam Deck OLED

Im actually really impressed with it on handheld and I’m going to just go ahead and do the whole playthrough on the Deck instead of my PC.

Jumped straight from beating Cyberpunk and Phantom Liberty to this game. Its great so far.

currently debating between buying the 256 lcd or 512 oled but i cant decide.

Idk a huge part of those games is the visuals. Couldn't imagine playing cyberpunk on ~medium settings on a tiny screen. Total waste to me. I have a 3080ti and that game made me wish I had a 4090.



But for those with no choice.. It's cool that they are playable

Steam Deck is an incredible piece of machinery and Steam is GOAT. They are always running good sales too.

I didn't play Cyberpunk on the deck because i want a mouse for pistol/throwing knife accuracy. But Games like GoT and Witcher III are perfect for Steam Deck.

512 OLED for sure. There is a big difference in the screen. Also 512 isn't even enough imo, i have to unninstall games to make room. Of course there is an option to put a SD card in though. But theres not point in getting an LCD SD when OLED exists.

Steam basically killed piracy on PC. Service is just so good with all the sales and how they turned the platform into a whole social media, even with a marketplace where you can earn steam money on your Steam wallet for buying games.

OP my suggestion for you is that if you're not familiar with it yet, at least skim through the real history it's based on. Adds so much immersion to the game.

Playing a game on steam deck on low settings at 40fps plays great, and since the screen is smaller the low graphics look as good as ultra on your big Pc.

Try a deck and you won't be able to go back, beta
