I've got nothing to prove...I can get an excellent workout at home without spending time and gas on gym.

Nah..I'm honestly past all that. I know who I am physically. Some push-ups a couple times of week with a weighted vest will still keep me jacked. I've done it before.

Depending on the look that you want, weights may or may not be required.
There are just some things that can't be achieved at home without 900 pounds of weights, just sayin...

health insurance sometimes reimburses gym memberships, up to $20 a month, which is usually how much they cost anyways

I was able to maintain a lean 190 at my height doing just push-ups before. I think that's big enough for me. Right now I'm 210. So the idea for me is to lean up, focus on movement more versus power (more walking and biking) and do more meditation.

No I'm just talking about gas money mainly because my gym is 15 miles away and there's not another one closer. So that's 30 miles a day extra I put on my car

I do landmine exercises: squats, row, press, RDL.

I dint think weight push ups are enough. Ring pushups are great though.

was great having a home gym during Covid when they all got shut down . I was deathly sick a few times a year when I went to a public gym , as there crowded AF after 5pm . Never had a cold for almost a decade when I quit going

I really just enjoy the gym environment. The variety of weights/machines/cables. Sl00ts running around in sports bra and those tights that go up their azz. Massive mirrors to mire myself in. Seeing the bro's and getting to catch up. Etc.

Yeah of course the gym environment is hard to beat I guess. It's just a matter of my time...how much time am I willing to invest? My focus used to be on getting as big as I could..however, my focus has changed now to where I am mainly focusing on health...and I think it's time that I ease up on some of the pressure I put on myself to have a Good physique..which is where I can dedicate more time to cardio and meditation.

Yeah I was like 190 and lean when I got out. Really, really lean. And that's also how I know that I don't need that much to stay big. Towards the end of my prison bid I was doing mainly calisthenics (burpees, push-ups, abs, pull-up, legs) and I lived on bean tacos
