My take is simply the logical one.

If for example someone is black, statistically, they are likely to have curly hair. But if I meet a black person who does not have curly hair, the fact that they're black does not invalidate the fact that their hair isn't curly.

My take is that statistically, certain races are likely to have certain traits. But people are individuals and that's how I judge them and if an individual doesn't have a certain trait, I'm not going to attribute that trait to them just because their race is likely to have it.

i recognize patterns and try to use them to keep me safe/happy/healthy...not sure if that means racist. i know modern tropes are that you can't judge groups of people....cuz what if just one is different/magical/super cool and you lose out on knowing them? well that's fine and dandy but when interacting with 10s of thousands of people some people may just get thrown under the bus with the assumptions made to protect safe/happy/healthy.

it's like the video of the dude walking down some city alley way like he was on the prairie while passing by a large group of thugishly dressed blacks....he got his arse beat and stuff stolen...try to avoid being that guy.

I'd say no. No ethnic has ever done anything wrong to me, whilst other white guys have jumped me with bottles. Seems unfair to hate those that have caused no issues. Obv I try to avoid chithole areas, so maybe I'd think differently if I'd for instance been jogged multiple times.
