They've always done that bullchit and only like 5% of people ever give a rat's ass about it. They aren't actually forcing your participation the dog contest thing, are they? Mandating participation in that is next level. You ain't seen chit until you've been company mandated to participate in something as ridiculous as a "stretch team committee"

My coworkers do this weird thing where they interrupt their work and mine and say things like “good morning” or “how are you”.

According to HR it is appropriate for me to respond, even though technically I am correct about having not done anything wrong.

the women at my office decided a "guess who the baby is" contest would be fun and most people (not me) brought in photos of themselves as babies and then everyone had to guess who was who. of course this led to everyone getting offended because everyone (incorrectly) guessed the fat baby was the fattest woman, the asian looking baby was the asian guy (wrong), etc. good times
