I'm a 32 year old male who's 5 foot 8 and I haven't gone to the gym in a few weeks after working out for over a year and not seeing results. I assume I wasn't eating enough. I'm trying to bulk and I looked at the nutrition thread and for instance it suggest at least .7g of protein per body weight which comes out to only a little over 100g. but when I use other calculators I may get results ranging from 150 to 220g of protein. myfitnesspal suggests a little over 3000 calories while other calculators suggest a little over 2600.
How do I know what's right???? I never know how much to eat because the data is never consistent. both the bodybuilding.com calculator as well as the calculator.net calculator suggest over 200g of protein. none of this makes sense.

None of this matters dude.
There's no "right" calories except the amount that accomplishes your goal of whether you're trying to gain, lose or maintain weight - and if you've been working out for a year you should've figured out what amount allows you to do that. Regardless of what any calculator says, which you'd only use as a starting point.
If you eat anywhere within, around, over or under the range of protein any of those calculators tell you to eat it's sufficient. There's no "right" amount here either.
Our bodies aren't universal machines that require an exact amount of calories and nutrients to build muscle. You could never read a single thing online or use a single macro calculator, and if you put in a good consistent & disciplined effort at the gym, eat when you're hungry and use a mirror as your guide over time, you'll make progress.
Like I've said in response to many of your repeated questions, some people find ways to make no progress and it's usually their overall approach - not one thing. You have to do a lot wrong to make absolutely no progress in the gym.

It's just that I stop making progress after like 2 or 3 months so I'm trying to pinpoint what I'm doing wrong. I assume not eating enough calories is part of it. I just don't know what else I've been doing wrong and I don't know how to pinpoint it. I'll gain weight for a bit and then I'll stop gaining. I've been trying to figure it out for many years. I work so hard in the gym and get nothing out of it and it's made me extremely depressed.

Well you’re kind of like talking to a brick wall. And it’s not about working “so hard” although that’s a very subjective way to measure what you’re doing.
Given all your repetitive posts and complete lack of progress and awareness, I strongly suggest you take up a different physical hobby such as pickleball, cycling etc. Anything where progress may be less elusive, improves your health, and which helps you feel better rather than worse.

isn't it also possible that someone could only be doing one thing wrong to not see progress? my understanding is you won't make any gains past beginner gains if not eating enough is one or the only issue. should I just use one macro calculation and stick with it? and if there's no right amount of protein why is there such a thing as "not enough" of it?

Dude you’ve looked at 100s of calculators. Eat anywhere in that range (or even under it) for progress. Those are giving you what they believe are the “optimal” amount for muscle growth, which is much different from how much you need to build some level of muscle or strength. You said you’ve made no progress in a year. If you’re a pu**y in the gym, it won’t matter how much protein or calories you eat.
The reason why people all think you’re a troll is because it’s hard to believe someone can’t get any basic grasp of any concepts.
Lift and eat. That’s all you need.

As I mentioned above, I suggest you try another fitness hobby. Right now you’re just spending a lot of time for no gain, unable to comprehend basic concepts about lifting and nutrition no matter how much you read or advice you are given, and are negatively impacting your mental health.
Once you attain some level of success and satisfaction in another type of physical activity, maybe re-visit weightlifting since your experience and outlook may position you to make some progress at that point.
