I use to be all about energy drinks but read how bad they are and something else I noticed good about coffee is you gotta sip it slow so its kinda relaxing while waking you up simultaneously. Energy drink you feel good after half the can but then you finish it and a hour later it hits you and you have unnecessary anxiety for the rest of the day until your adrenaline glans start to crash.
Unless you use lots of creamer but after going to rehab and AA I have kinda become accustomed to drinking it plain, no creamer or sugar.

When i've had energy drinks i just had that weird ass diabetic thirst where no matter how much i drank i still felt thirsty, and this was with sugar free energy drinks. After a bit of googling i found out high amounts of B12 and caffeine (both of which is in energy drinks) can deplete pottassium salts in your blood causing said symptoms. For the average joe it wont matter but im on Keto fasting to cut some weight so it fuks me up hugely

Very interesting, I used to drink these caffeinated drink packets you mix with water that had the fake sugar and that happened to me once. I was so thirsty and no amount of water was quenching the thirst, I’d never experienced anything like it before. I figured it was the artificial sugar doing it but now you’ve got me thinking
