srs question. hogan acted like a bitch politically, but he did train with matsuda
not too many legit fight stories out there about either of these guys and the only one that comes to mind immediately has to do with bret pulling a boy toy's hair. hogan never danced, son.
i'm a bret guy and if i had to place a bet, i'd go with bret....but i don't wanna count hogan out.

I think OP is talking about an actual fight. If that's the case Bret doesn't stand a chance. Yeah I get all the skill/technique argument, but at a certain point the size and strength difference is too much to overcome.
From a pro wrestling perspective it depends what we're measuring. If it's purely between the ropes technical wrestling and psychology then Bret was better, although Hogan was limited in WWE for whatever reason and after the last thread on him I did watch some of his Japan stuff and he's better than he gets credit for. If it's drawing power and being over, Hogan wins that by a mile. If it's mic/character work it's hard to say. I never thought either of them were that good on the mic. Bret was involved in better storylines, but WWE didn't really have to build storylines around Hogan to get people interested. He was the draw of the whole show, they were there just to see him period.See Krackerjacked's sig

Might be more than that depending on what kind of shape they're in. But Hogan is over a half foot taller with obviously bigger reach as well. Billed weights were 235 vs 302 but again those might not be entirely accurate, and even if they were might vary depending on how each was training at the time.
