I believe they actually didn’t call Ben’s name though. He’s never mentioned it and there was no benefit for doing it but he did it anyway.

More likely they didn't hear their names called. But lol @ this spin. Neither Biden nor Trump have any principles or character whatsoever. They are among the worst examples of leadership. Here is a real leader:
And even on the right, here is an example of a real leader even if he was a pile of chit.
Note the balls on these men, who went out before the public and truly believed in what they did, for better or for worse. Both were willing to die for their beliefs, and one did so, while the other survived assassination attempts.
We don't have leaders like these anymore. We have cowards. Biden was terrified to take a stand and condemn genocide. And Trump is a grifting buffoon whose very existence defiles and dishonors the office.Last edited by uneducated; 04-14-2024 at 12:05 PM.

You literally have a candidate who continues to deny election results lmao. Some of his supporters have already proposed a third term in 2028. He literally had a goon squad try to overthrow the government and decertify the vote. He cheated on his wife with a prostitute and used campaign funds as hush money. He tried to manipulate the count during the election. And bizarrely, his campaign manager was the same one who worked for Yanukovych in Ukraine, who is a known Kremlin agent who now lives in Russia in exile. And even if you somehow ignore ALL of that, he is a former billionaire whose own people in New York utterly despise him.
This is your guy. Get a grip.
He will never be president again. Or, if elected, it's going to be a very short term. I do not think the powers that be will take another chance with him.

Remember when I was right about literally everything, including the worsening of US-Russia relations? Covid?
Why do you think I am wrong here?
Trump is dangerous for the future of America, and it won't be the kind of revolution that fixes anything. It is opening the door to fascism and endangering the world and the future of democracy (not to mention rule of law in America) in a profound way. He really should not be anywhere near power ever again.
You've been warned. Watch how this unfolds if he wins.
Those of you who think, erroneously, that he will "cleanse the rot" in Washington seem to forget he did nothing of the sort in his first term and instead surrounded himself with guys like John Bolton and Mike Pompeo. There is absolutely no reason to trust Trump to fix anything.
It's an accelerationist vote and nothing more. But if you people were upset by the George Floyd riots, I do not think you are remotely ready for what your accelerationism would bring.Last edited by uneducated; 04-15-2024 at 07:07 AM.

I'm talking about the broader pattern of what Trump's fascist supporters will bring when the federal government's legitimacy disappears and arbitrary enforcement of law sets in. If Trump is allowed to defy the courts, flout elections, and behave with such disorder, it will be the end of the country, and then you will see crime on a level you cannot begin to comprehend.
America already had this experiment with Thomas Jefferson. Those who paid attention in history class would be familiar with Marbury vs Madison. In that case, a defiant president openly challenged the court, and it was only due to John Marshall's clever chess move of striking down a law that allowed him to avoid facing Jefferson directly and trying to force him to do something. If Trump is allowed to continue his campaign of lawlessness, the legitimacy of the American legal system will be unraveled in the exact way John Marshall anticipated over 220 years ago.
Our democracy simply cannot survive a president who is this hostile to the courts. It won't end well. And trying to pack and control the court with political allies, as McConnell did, does not protect anything. Trump openly attacks judges he himself appointed when they rule against him. Try to understand what this means for the future of democracy.

"Do you think SHE actually felt like that was a sexual thing he was doing? She's like 6. Only an actual p3do would think that she thought he was groping her, too."
"Not that it's impossible to touch a minor inappropriately, but it is true that a 6 year old girl will not recognize someone putting a hand on their chest as groping, whether it is inappropriate or not."
