    lightheadedness when lifting during cut

I doubt my cut is that deep. I did fine on most lifts. But then I got lightheaded during fast inclined situps. Not a deal breaker, but it got me worrying about how much control my body's blood sugar regulation has over me. I also have started drinking lots of green tea to distract me from eating. I will get out the scale and notebook again.

Do you get lightheaded during a cut?

    How do you interpret it?

My fear is it means my body put my food into fat instead of into glycogen, my muscles then take blood sugar, and then cortisol takes my muscle protein. I wonder if that happens with some people. I do know testosterone levels play a big role in whether men store excess calories as muscle or fat.

It could also be the garlic I ate, which normally is not an issue.
It could be the reduction in salt since I'm eating fewer canned beans and drinking more water.
My calorie deficit is likely only 300 per day, though I need to measure.

So this could be a blood pressure issue rather than a blood sugar issue. It could even be a blood oxygen issue. Could be a long term side effect from a medical study years ago, or from covid. I thought it went away, though that was when I was gaining 5 pounds of fat per month. Nope. Its back.

Situps though should not lower blood pressure. Maybe blood oxygen if I forget to breath.

I'll monitor my salt intake as well as calories.

    ...

It could even be the asheaganda I started taking again.

Lightheadedness is not fun. I lost power in a pool a few times and luckily was near the edge on the worst one. I'll stick to machines and weights that can't pin me.

    ...

Or it could be the ginger tea. At least it is not necessarily the cut, though the cut likely makes it worse.

Oxygen, sugar, and pressure all matter.

Aim to include a variety of foods at each meal. To balance your plate, your meals should include protein, fat, vegetables, and complex carbohydrates.

Having a good understanding of how your body responds to food and eating can help you make sure you’re not overeating.
