There was a surge in women going to college in the 90s.
If you look at all ages, men out earn women. If you look at under 45s, women out earn men. This is specifically because of the college surge that started in the 90s and continues to this day, where over 60% of college freshmen are now women.
The average millenial woman has greater earning power than the average millenial man and is hence more able to afford a home.

Women are definitely beating men in 2024. It's not even close. Thank god I was old enough to grow up in generation where there was still something of a choice. Half the men in the 35-40 age range (I'm 37) mogged and the other half became weaklings. Ok maybe not half, my age group is pretty beta but the point is we still had something of a choice. Men 20-30 years old had it hammered in that women are superior from a very young age. I'm not even semi-surprised men are losing in those age groups. And I got some bad news it's only getting worse

all of the 'career' single women i know all still get bankrolled by their parents. They don't live at home, they rent a 2k apartment a month paid for by their parents, their car payment is paid for, their cell phone is paid for. They make decent money but if their primary checking gets too low their parents see it and just transfer money into it.
The non-single ones are either married w/ kids to someone in the military, or someone dude with rich parents."we cannot be more sensitive to pleasure without being more sensitive to pain"

Seriously, I didn't know one female that owns a house that they bought completely on their own, ie not part of a divorce, being a widow, or taking over their parents house.
Closest thing is one bought a condo (apartment type) and has a roommate playing her rent for a room.
They just rent until they find a man that owns a place and they move in with them, breaking their lease.

This isn't too surprising. Women earn more money than men on average (pay gap is fake) in their 20s. And in relationships men tend to pay for the far majority of things, so when single women are in relationships the men are subtracting how much money they have while the women save. Women who are single for years and years are broke. Women in and out of relationships have their lives subsidized by men all the time.
And that doesn't even include the common trend of women in their late teens through their 30s being sugar babies to men in their 50s-60s. And fathers tend to not financially help their sons, while giving money to their daughters.Light weight! Light weight baby!!!!

Women have it a lot easier then men regardless of what the feminists would have you believe. They are pushed more/incentivized more to get a good education + career. They are coddled along the way. When they date their boyfriends tend to pay for a lot of their expenses, travel, housing, etc. Once they are married and a combined income their husband often carries their debts. Etc. Plus lets not forget wives get houses the majority of times in a divorce. Going through life as a woman you can make bad decisions and have someone help you clean them up later.
If you are a man there is a much smaller margin for error. The chances of you going 100-200K in debt then meeting a high earning woman that will support you/help pay for it, is slim. The chance of you as a man marrying a woman getting a house. And getting divorced and keeping the house while she bounces is slim. The chances that you can make dozens of poor life-life choices that would otherwise fukk you over for half of your life. But meet someone who works through them with you and helps you recover is slim. Its a harder world for men. Some women will deny this. But most attractive girls I know will openly admit life is fairly carefree. The back-up plan is always 'settle' for a less attractive guy that has his **** together but can provide a stable life/home.
We are currently in an era where a lot of women are out-performing men in education, career, and even buying a home. But its because they've been coddled/taken care of/pushed along the way for about 20 years now. I'm not mad at all. I just acknowledge the world has gotten a lot harder/more competitive for the 'average' guy. Sucks to be average I guess.
