Drugs, that's the #1 hot spot for Heroin on the east coast being filmed. I lived in the next neighborhood south for 6 years and didn't have any problems really but since 2020 the city has gone to complete ****. The cops aren't allowed to do their jobs properly. Our police chief is the old Portland police chief and the DA lets anyone out with a slap on the wrist. Tons of crime is even reaching far out suburbs now, but luckily the DAs in those counties don't mess around like in Philly. I moved to the suburbs and won't ever go down town now unless work requires or I have to for something.

I just asked my uncle about Kensington and he replied with that section has been a drug area for 5 years; he was just there last week at his watch guy's shop.
The bottom line is that all cities are short on staff/cops and many DA's changed the policy on theft minimums, fines, and length of incarceration.

If teens were charged as adults then this will change fast.
We have kids with guns from 12-19 doing adult crimes currently
