haven't been to the gym at night in a while so i do not know if i'd like that better than mornings. of course that one was some enormous one that hardly ever had more than 4 people in it. GOAT gym.
been going in the AM and nowadays. it takes me an hour to get up and to actually start reps. not sure what time i should adjust to but i am not a fan of morning workouts especially legs.
used to be i was up at 445 gym by 515 and done by 6-615 which was 7-8yrs ago.Bills crew / Bud Light crew / extra onion crew / M&P crew / lcp2 crew / ap3 crew / Trump crew / mcdonalds app crew / cat-owner crew / Tin Cup crew / self-checkout crew / country music crew / RIP snails crew

Been going in the AM for about 10 years now.
Pros:
Less crowded
-No large groups hogging equipment
-People don't sit on equipment on their phones. They're just in there to workout then get to work
-Knocking it out first thing in the morning means whatever happens throughout your day, you won't lose time or motivation to go.
Cons:
-Early bedtime.

I like mornings because I can get gym out of the way and be free in the afternoon. Plus it's less crowded, so you likely won't ever wait for equipment.

Currently transitioning to morning lifting crew myself.
My biggest fear has just been doing squats/deads first thing in the morning is risky as far as back injuries go, but a couple days ago I did SLDLs relatively heavy and had no pain at all so maybe we're all gonna make it brah. Gonna keep it light and see if I can condition my back to tolerate heavier loads in the AM no homo.
Feels pretty fukking good going about your day and you already got your workout done. Better energy and sense of accomplishment.HTC

i tried it for a bit during covid
I think there are many benefits
- basically your entire day is free
- more time efficient due to more equipment being free
- makes you feel more awake throughout the day imo
- preworkouts and caffeine are taken in the morning rather than in the afternoon and night which can interfere with sleep
however I felt I was a bit weaker bc It takes me 1-2 hours to fully wake up. early bed time which kinda sucks. I'm a late night sleeper.positivity brah crew
