Also please explain to hs math teachers around the country that you need to use parentheses properly when teaching logs, that "not a function" isn't good enough and one ought to specify "y is not a function of x", that division/exponentiation/subtraction are not associative and to use fukkin parentheses, that continuous doesn't mean "don't need to lift your pencil" (1/x is continuous inbreds), that hyperbolic cosine and sine are just as intuitive as sine and cosine and should be taught using a complex triangle, and for heaven's sake please tell them to stop using the word "range" and instead say image or codomain. It's not about the money. My wife and I are very comfortable already. I really only brought that up to prevent a bunch of questions about why I would spend so much money on college. My point was that it pays for itself in a few years max.

And maybe. There's a community college nearby that I could see myself teaching at sometime down the road. I would certainly have the experience/qualifications to teach elementary education and special education to aspiring teachers if I want to go that route.

I don't have any student loan debt at this point, and I'm not looking to pay a fortune. Most of the programs I'm looking at are in the $30,000 range.
