By looking at my most recent photo you might think "you need to cut fat ****." The only reason I'm asking is because I have lost a lot of muscle due to not working out and eating poorly. So I am wondering if a bulk can be beneficial 197 to 205 due to muscle memory. For example my arms 14.5 L and 15 inch R when they used to be 16 L 16.25 R and I was less fat than I am now. So maybe i can pack on a little bit of muscle before I cut...what do you guys think? Should I just cut and put on size later?

a bulk can't be beneficial based on the pics, so it's better to cut and get stronger in the process if you haven't trained properly in a while anyway. think about it this way: you're p!ss weak right now, muscle memory will help you to get stronger even in a deficit (if not, at least maintenance), so why would you ever bulk from this spot?
