    Anyone daily drive a c6 or c7?

Thinking about trading in my 2012 camaro ss and daily drive a corvette, anyone do this, experiences?

I have an suv more bad weather and snow, which I'll just work from home when the weather is bad anyways.

No issues. Car is comfortable. If you lived in a place with crazy potholes or huge street/road transitions it can be sketchy but in GA/FL I've been fine.

I drive my C7 ZO6 manual daily unless the weather sucks. Sure makes the ride to work more fun. Being able to switch driving modes is pretty awesome. I’ll leave it on touring if it’s a really bumpy road but then go to sport or track when it smooths up.

It's pretty easy to live with a Corvette so long as you don't go for the super racey ones.

I used to daily a C6 (LS3 6.2L V8) and it was really nice. I would take the targa top off every day and blast the heat in the fall. Always very fun (srs)

I went to the gym yesterday in my Altima and a guy with a C8 pulled up to me in the parking lot talking about cars. I told him I'd love to get the new Z06 and he asked that I drive his C8. I was hesitant because I'm not going to rag on someone's new C8 but he insisted. It was such a nice car to drive and very comfortable. I love rowing gears but that DCT is just instant and a ton of fun both upshifting and downshifting. This new Z06 is definitely going to hurt some feelings and if they sound amazing with a straight pipe exhaust, I'll probably order one.

mainly it'd be for going to work, so in a locked and monitored lot. I work for a power company so lots of security.

I think I'm settling on an 08, because of the ls3, had it in my camaro and was happy with its overall performance.

Just waiting till my divorce settles out then pulling the trigger.

The the stable will have the new c6, hopefully a grandsport targa top.

Then my winter vehicle will be a 2013 porsche cayenne turbo, on duratracs currently, ill start modding the cayenne first. Should be hnnnng

dont lower the C6 if you plan on DDing it. gets old taking every elevation change at an angle, and even then youll scrape sometimes.

Cargo area is big enough to throw in a couple suitcases or even do a Costco run.

No regrets buying this car. None. Maintenance is reasonable.

Tires are a tad pricey and they don't last long; just changed mine at only 12,000 miles and the belts were coming through on all 4 tires.
that would be a pain in the ass, but worth the driving experience. I'll be able to spread out some of my miles to my second vehicle as well.

good to hear, very pro SPP. The bad thing about CAISO is the governor of California gets to appointment the board of directors for CAISO which that alone pisses me off.
