It was $624 i believe shipping was $187 plus they was discount during memorial day on the uprights. Don't remember how much was it
Rogue pair of 90" Monster uprights were $330 or so without shipping and tax. Plus they had to be cut due to ceiling height issues . So by the time for 4 uprights it could have been close to $950 or so and then inside width would 43" which would suck for BP work at least for me .[M]===[6]▪ Mech6 Crew #35 ▪[M]===[6]

No bottom hole on the Mono was expanded so that they can used on the Rogue racks as well. That hole/pin used to keep the Mono in place .
Rack holes were not touched. No PR5000 holes are not smaller than Rogue . Actually they are tad bigger than 1 1/16" . It is actually alignment of the holes on the rack . I think it is where holes start on the bottom on PR-5000 . They are actually 2" apart .
I am actually happy with the uprights. I actually have bottom crossmember as well . So in case in future hopefully soon , if i have to keep one rack then i can expand this to 6 post rack. The current bottom CM will go as a top CM on the storage section.[M]===[6]▪ Mech6 Crew #35 ▪[M]===[6]

Getting multiple plates is more than before. Ex. For Rep Urethane equalizers, 45s last year were $220 + shipping, this year it was $234.99 + shipping, now it’s $279.99 shipped free. Maybe a little cheaper if only getting a pair but not if you’re getting multiple pairs (freight was $150-200 to SoCal previously for a large plate order when I was looking earlier this year).
Shane responded later saying they are working on bigger plate packages which may help some, but some of those packages may include plates you don’t want (ex. 35s lol) or the quantities you want.||---|| Rogue Barbell Club #36 ||---||

Rep is no stranger to shipping rate troubles. The topic came up around page 22-23 of this thread and again when they dropped their monolift attachments and passed on the freight cost to the early buyers.
I’ve had a PR-5000v2 in my cart many times now. This time there were more accessories available so I can’t exactly compare against how I optioned it in the past. A few people on Instagram are posting that the total price went up compared to purchasing with freight costs calculated at checkout.
Then there are the local customers who now have to pay a premium. The local pickup discount often doesn’t discount enough to offset their recent price hikes.
It also doesn’t help that REP has a video on their site bashing “free shipping”

I swear, it's like Rep doesn't know how to get out of their own way. So many unforced errors.
Seen a number of products went up in price beyond what they cost before plus shipping, some, like benches, look to be a little cheaper. Probably going to go ahead and say this likely hurts the consumer but I won't buy anything from Rep again so oh well. I still like my PowerSpeed bar but that was about the only thing I didn't have some complaint with.

There’s a stainless PowerSpeed bar that popped up locally for $300, but the knurling on my OBX-20kg was already flattened by the previous owners’ rack hooks. I didn’t even know stainless was an option on the PowerSpeed bar.
I still want to upgrade from a half rack to a six post rack.. but at this point I’m leaning towards cruising local classifieds looking for someone dumping their COVID purchase to go back to a box gym.Last edited by boxer_for_life; 07-01-2021 at 01:59 PM.

You don't see how raising prices hurts consumers? lolwut?
Yeah they can shop elsewhere, that's always an option. My point was this move by Rep likely makes things more expensive than it was before with no added benefit. Of course consumers aren't "entitled" to anything but if Rep wants consumers then they need a value proposition. It used to be higher quality equipment than Titan at prices cheaper than Rogue. Now it's, uhhh, I don't really know because for a lot of items the quality is on par with Titan at more expensive prices. The innovation is garbage, I give them credit for trying but almost every unique item they've released has had glaringly obvious flaws.

There's actually a benefit, I've buying and selling equipment for many years now, this will increase their resale value, so it's not a total loss if you buy REP now. It's not a major bump up, but it's something, and now values will only go up, people never would factor in tax and shipping into resale values, so when it's packaged into the prices, it's always better for resale value.

This is exactly how I used to view Rep. An in between of Titan and Rogue but they do seem to be out of stock quite often and they remain out of stock for a long long time where my desire to buy whatever it is tends to go away.
I've had no problems with my Titan products and really no problems with Rep products neither. I havent price compared since a number of years ago when I bought the original rep fitness excalibur bar but my perception is theyre much more expensive than they were and I still feel like they're the in between company.
Everything i've gotten from Rogue has been flawless, customer service has always been top notch...I find myself just wanting to go with the sure thing even if slightly more expensive.
I bought a leg extension from Legend and had major shipping issues. I've bought a lot from Kabuki and EVERY TIME i get something from kabuki there is an issue whether its a lengthy shipping delay or the product shouldn't have passed QC. Plus they're charging a premium, the product is a premium but the logistics of getting it to you may be the worst of all companies.
Only bought a few things from Vulcan and they all seemed poorly made and cheap but this was maybe 6-7 years ago since I've bought from them, I'm sure they've improved.

I figured I'd ask here since I haven't had any luck elsewhere:
I'm looking for a powerspeed bar (preferably in stainless steel), and they've unfortunately been discontinued. I reached out to REP and was told they didn't have one, and haven't had any luck on the secondary market either.
If anyone here is thinking of selling theirs, please reach out to me.
If this is against the rules, sorry mods. Will delete.

Good luck! It's a great bar. Iron Grip makes one that's similar and appears to be available for purchase: https://www.powerliftusa.com/store/b...fting-bar-ob-7
It's expensive and not stainless, but I believe other forum members have spoken highly of it.

So then rogue attachments that require 2 hitch pins are not compatible ?
And why would rep go with a 93” tall rack? Lol. FML if I want the lat attachment it’s a tad too, high for my basement.
So it’s 80”Metallica rack with lat, or 93” without.
So engineer/fab guys… if I buy the 93” rep, rack,I,can cut it down to 90” but the lat attachment rods have a threaded nut at each end. How hard would it be to cut the rods, down and weld the nuts in?
