Something important for a silencer, is that you consider the likelihood of the manufacturer being there to fix things a year, five, ten years, twenty years later. You go through all the hoops, God only knows what the new hoops in place will be in the future, and then you get an end plate strike or worse a baffle strike, or you just break it somehow...they going to be there for it? Are they still going to be making muzzle device mounts for it that you can find to buy?

Came into the thread to ask about a silencer..I currently have the silencer co omega on my mk18. Is there any benefit to getting another suppressor for the sp5 for example? Or better to just only have one suppressor and swap it around?
Do you guys have multiple? If so do you stick with just one brand?
If I got another brand I’d probably go for the surefire as well.

There are pros and cons to going with a larger caliber suppressor than you need. One benefit is that you don't need to worry as much about alignment.
In general, at the ear you're saving <1 dB by using the correct end cap. At the muzzle, maybe 3-5 dB. If overall suppression is the most critical dimension, then selecting a suppressor with the correct caliber is ideal. If you want versatility / reduced likelihood of a baffle or end cap strike, going up in size may be beneficial.
Volume makes a difference. The larger the suppressor, the less gas in your face / wear on the weapon, but there are ways to mitigate this too. This account was created for the purpose of roleplaying and satire. Gear Review: Holosun HS510C Reflex Sight
By Travis Pike - April 14, 2021

“The HS510C is rather affordable with plenty of features providing a lot of optic for the money. It’s well-suited to use on carbines of all types, and even shotguns could be equipped with such an optic.”America First

Definitely going with a .30 cal suppressor. I shoot a lot of .300 blk and 7.62 plus I can mount it on my 5.56 rifles.
