Curious to know as well. Idk if it's cause I just started placing my focus in SPAC's but I feel like there's more than ever. So many decent ones to pick from...

Lots of spacs with 10 dollar range so limited downside.

May just do 1k shares in 5 of them and see what happens. But which ones are most promising?

I was in AACQ warrants a while back and made a decent buck on them. I like AACQ's management team. I might pull a Tennis and go 50/50 shares/warrants there.

Etac looking decent at $10.6

They are old and gotta be getting close to a deal you'd think. Only issue is they have a huge pot O' cash and I'm not certain what they'd even target. I bought 200 at $10.60 just now and I've got orders I'll let sit for a couple weeks to buy 200 more at 10.30


ACIC and CRHC moving a lot lately.

FTOC I've added 300 shares today. Not sure why its not closer to $14 or $15 tbh...

My buddy put his whole account into amci warrants when they were 70c and the rumour was that there would be a warrant buy back of 1.50 (easy double your money).....well they canceled that buyback and warrants sunk to 30c, my buddy panic sold and lost half his account and now theyre like 4 bucks last I looked.

I just don’t ever really know where to look to see the potential some of these have. I try to stay away from stocktwits etc because you never know what’s really real.

Edit: looking at etac chart: looks like maybe a double bottom at 10.58/9. Do you factor technicals like this into spac plays?

Nope. All I care about is how close is it to $10 and how good of a deal do I think the SPAC management can pull off. ETAC management is a little iffy, but 6% risk doesn't concern me much when I had close to $20k cash sitting in my account this morning. As you can obviously imply I figure there is a moderate chance I'll double my position at $10.30 so do with that what you will.


Also something amusing I noticed today- a TON of my commons are sitting over $11 for absolutely no reason today...yet I am accumulating PTICU which has 1/3 of a warrant attached for <$11 and DLACU (bought at 10.8) that has 1/2 a warrant attached to each share. Bought some FTOC. Very new to spacs though. Going to be looking into this more, seems like there is pretty limited downside. The biggest risk is basically them just merging with a chitty company and its the same as if you invested in a bad IPO, right?

Yep except IPO can go to 0. For the moment, the lowest FTOC can go is $10 so only 30% downside risk.

Thunderbridge has their 3rd spac units out for sale today TBCBU going for roughly $10.50 first day of trading lmao. Put in a big buy order at $9.81 but tbh I think they are sorta garbage with 1/5th of a warrant w/ each unit. I'll buy anything under $10 though ayy

IMO I'd start smaller unless you want tag-a-long buyers pushing the prices up insanely. You'd have to watch level 2 and see where the sell walls are and essentially just keep buying the big sell walls.

That actually sounds like a solid way to go about it. I think I'm going to get level 2 sooner than later as well so I can sell CCIV more efficiently if things go well.

Yea definitely look at level 2 and keep your warrant orders low. Probably don’t go over 5 k per order, otherwise you get these morons watching level 2 going “ someone knows something” and raising the price. Don’t want to instill confidence or create fomo while buying.

They can go below 10. KSMT was at 9.50 back in November. Getting in close to NAV is a great idea but I'd check to make sure the management team is solid + seeking a sector that's trendy

They can go below 10 but you're able to redeem your shares for $10+interest come proxy vote time so you can only lose money in opportunity cost buying @ nav. If a spac was trading at 9.50 you're actually guaranteed a ~5% gain but you'd have to hold it to proxy vote.
