How can you just say fuk off to your fellow human beings. Lots of them have children and even try to have more children in order get more welfare money. Imagine if that was your only option to getting income?
I know alot of you on the misc worked hard for your money but you should share some of it because that's the right thing to do. You can't take your money with when you die, but you can die knowing you made the world a better place.

Not sure if troll post or not, but my wife's family came here as refugees from a war torn country. They benefitted from welfare programs and also a great family that made sure they had what they needed to survive for the first few years coming over to a strange land. She would recount christmas' where "Ms Betty" and her family would bring gifts to them and to this day she was so appreciative.
Now that all 3 kids are grown, 2 are doctors and one is a pharmacist. These programs can be beneficial. In fact, it comes around full circle. "Ms Betty's" son started having health issues later on in life and my wife's brother would take care of him, keep an eye on his health, give him tips on how to mitigate risk, etc.

Right, but it's not greedy to take advantage of the system and have others people pay for everything.

I support welfare for:
- drug-tested adults who are clean
- children
- legal citizens
- older adults
I do not support welfare for:
- illegal residents
- anyone who fails drug testingThus let me live, unseen, unknown;
Thus unlamented let me die;
Steal from the world, and not a stone
Tell where I lie.

I donate to local shelters. If people need a hand they can go there for help. People that walk up to me claiming to be selling a candy bar for some bull**** reason aren't getting a cent. It's better that it is getting used on actual supplies than me giving individuals money then immediately turning around and buying drugs.

Anyone can at least try to get a job. Lots of these people claim they cant, mostly because of their addictions. I used to see tons of them at the methadone clinic. Weekly trips with the 4 kids, actively talking about where to score smack after they got their methadone. Its really messed. They were DEFF on welfare since they never paid for their stuff

I have 3 kids. Why should I pay to take care of other people's kids because they are irresponsible? What we need are licences to have kids.
Welfare is supposed to be temporary, but people stay on it for years and years because they get more money than actually working, and the Democrat machine never cuts them off. I support welfare for people who are either unable to work or are inbetween jobs. I do not support welfare for lazy POS, and there are plenty, to do nothing all day. I think welfare should pay well, but have strict requirements. You get what your last salary paid for 12 weeks. You have people that make you look for work. If you cheat the system they strip your benefit. If you can't find a job in 12 weeks they give you one somewhere.

Why should I give up a portion of my life for someone who refuses to do that same? I am 100% for taking care of our sick and disabled who literally CAN'T work, but for those who can, fukem. Sorry that working got in the way of your lifestyle. Maybe you need to change it. It is greedy to expect others to cover for your choices.
If you are poor:
- Not my fault: I don't hire/fire/control policy. It's not my fault you are poor.
- Not my responsibility. Take point one, and add that I owe you nothing and you are a grown adult, or if you are a child you are a responsibility of your parents.
- Not my problem: Why should I do anything about it if you won't.

I support welfare for the elderly as well as mentally and physically handicapped people.
People in good physical health should not receive welfare. If you have children you should lose your welfare benefits or have your kids removed from your home to be raised in a state run facility.
I'm sorry but too many unemployed degenerates are breeding 4 to 8 children. Just to live off government aid. And those kids typically start breeding at 13-15 as well so they can collect benefits on them too.
I'm a fairly generous guy. I don't mind dropping a 30-50% tip to someone in a service industry who does a good job. But I don't believe in giving anything to the lazy or to degenerates.
