I am Credit Card debt free!!!

Beginning of the year I was buried 18k+ in CC debt. My interest charge at one point was over $500. Hit a few good poker tournaments for 7.5k early this year, and with my Trump bucks coming in every week I was able to finally pay it all off! Bros, its like a giant weight that has been lifted. Also my credit score went up 80 points since beginning of year, 765. 2020 sucks for majority of world, but its been a blessing for me.

Young miscers, really understand how credit works before you take on any. Or youll get stuck in this horrible trap like I did.

Das it mayne. I recommend setting up the notification setting that text messages you every time you swipe or use your card. Then put that in a excel spreadsheet for the month. It's incredibly easy to back up in debt so log all of your purchased.

Cant, having CCs for a long time is really good for your credit score. Just gotta stay disciplined and not spend on stupid shyt. Which is easier now since im outta my 20s.

Bro, thats been my life for years. Beginning of month is for car and house, middle of month was for cc and bills. Literally have been living paycheck to paycheck for like 6 years.

Good job OP. Did the same over 10 years ago and never looked back. I currently have one CC that I don't use. If I can't pay cash, I don't need it that badly.

I use mine for every purchase I make, gas, groceries, entertainment, etc, and just collect the cashback and pay it off every month. As long as you don't go full retard and spend more than you can pay off every month you're leaving free money on the table by not utilizing a CC for day to day purchases.

GJDM - When I was 28, I was 30k in cc debt. Paid it off in 2 years and never was in debt again. I put all my expenses on credit cards now and pay in full to get cashback/rewards.

Same here man, I racked up maybe like $10k or $15k in my early 20s. One card was even sent to collections

Dealing with that and paying it off taught me lessons that will last a lifetime. Credit score went from like 560 in my 20s to 871 most recently (credit scores go up to 900 in Canada)
