Gotcha. That can be said for any team though...once a team starts winning the "fans" show up.
On here we've had a pretty good group of 49er fans even in the chit years even though we lost a bunch of guys over the years. Back in the Harbaugh years the 49ers official thread was getting maxed out within a year of being opened up.
Overall I hate the bulk of 49er fans though. Way too many casuals who have to be told when to get loud at a home game.

I'm sure you will all think it will be funny if the 49ers lose. They're the team to hate on right now. Even though they have played better than any other team other than arguably maybe the Patriots each week.
I think it'll be a win. If not, then so be it, gotta settle for 8-1.
I think betting on the Seahawks would be foolish though

Exactly. You know I'm pretty cautious when it comes to 49er games but based on what we've seen so far THIS season the 49ers are the better team.
We'll see if they're the better team on Monday night though. If there is one position which can overcome a better team by playing at an elite level it's the QB position and Wilson has been playing his best football. They have dangerous weapons and if the 49ers D isn't careful Seattle will put up the points. Question will be how the Seahawks D handles the 49ers offense.
At least based on what both teams have shown this season - with 6 mutual opponents if both teams play a clean game the 49ers should win.

You must have missed it. I like the 49ers and hope they win. Gotta show love to Jimmy G, the former Patriot. It would be amazing to watch a 49ers vs Patriots Super Bowl.
Plus, the better Jimmy G and Brissett does the more it destroys the "system" QB narrative for New England QBs.New England Patriot

I just don't get why you've chosen to focus in on one Arizona game on a short week, and can say you aren't impressed with every other game the 49ers have had.
Every person watching football is 100% impressed with the 49ers, it's impossible not to be. A 4-12 team starting out 8-0 with an incredible defense, and with so many injuries too

maybe...some but some fan bases are more fair weather than others. Raiders fans love their team more than niners fans do....when their teams are bad. I've been to games at candlestick and in santa clara and two in oakland. the raiders fans never left early, despite saints destroying them. The game i went to in candlestick was MNF.....saints got up and Alex smith almost led an amazing come back but came up short. fans stayed. a couple years ago, saints were destroying the niners in santa clara and half the stadium left with 9 minutes left in the game. that would never happen in new orleans...or oakland.

It's one thing to say you're not sure if they're as good as their showing in the first half of the season due to the teams they've played but to say they haven't been impressive for 8-0 is just dumb.
They are 3rd in the NFL in scoring offense, 7th in the NFL in yardage offense.
They are 2nd in scoring defense and 1st in yardage defense.
Their offense still has a pretty inexperienced QB(who only got his 16th NFL start a few weeks ago), awful inconsistency and youth at WR until they traded for Sanders. Their LT has been out since week 2. Their RT has been out since their 4th game. Their swing tackle has been out since preseason. They have won 6 games with their 4th string T at LT and 4 with their 5th string T at RT. They have also gone 4 games without their FB who is a huge part of their offense, especially their running game.
Their defense has been missing their top corner since week 4 as well.
They have won their games by a total of 133 points. Pretty sure that's second only to the Pats.
They have only had 2 games which were won by less than a TD - Steelers where they turned the ball over 5 times and Arizona on the short week.
Now it's certainly possible they've benefited from a pretty easy schedule in these 8 games and as they start to face the tougher teams on their schedule the chinks in the armor show and they look like a very different team end of the year but so far saying they haven't been impressive is dumb.

doesn't matter what teams they've faced so far. they're 8-0. This is their biggest game by far.
IF Kittle's out, Hawks win.
If he plays, the close edge probably goes to the niners.
Hopefully this game reignites the rivalry. it's been kinda boring with the niners being so trash the last several years.
